After a long day’s ride, we stumbled upon the C&O Trail Café in Williamsport, and it turned out to be the perfect spot to unwind. They have a great patio where the five of us could relax with our bikes close by. The staff immediately brought out cold water and made us feel right at home.
The menu had plenty of great options. I had an amazing burger, and the Old Bay wings were fantastic. They’ve got a solid beer selection too, and even helped us fill a to-go bag with ice. Before we left, they kindly refilled all of our water bottles for the next stretch of the ride.
Not only was the staff friendly, but the other customers were great too. The whole place had such a welcoming, laid-back vibe. It’s the perfect lunch stop for anyone riding the C&O . Highly recommended!

This grill is the real deal, and the place to go to after a ride on the C&O Canal towpath. The establishment has bike racks outside, and the locals are very accepting and willing to strike up a conversation. The food is outstanding, made better by the outstanding service! Sue and Kristy were there, serving a pretty full bar and a couple of tables. They were the best!! If in town, or traveling on I-81 or I-70, it’s worth driving a couple of miles.

I love this little hometown bar. It’s never overly packed but it’s also never dead. Nice bartenders that will definitely interact with you the whole time. Very affordable prices on beverages and food. Parking is not ideal but it could be worse.

Awesome place to hang out, the Friday night karaoke is good but the DJ favors the regulars they will cycle 3x to a randoms one time singing and if you mention it to them they tell you to leave if you don’t like it and if he is drunk he will try to fight you…..

Stopped in here after hiking on the C&O Canal towpath. It’s a no frills joint. Kind of a throwback to little bar/pubs that used to be a part of every town.
We ate at the bar, ordered the C&O fish sandwich because ya know, seemed appropriate. The sandwich was good.
They have a great beer selection, including area craft beers.
In case you are up for it, there’s a pool table.

Owner cane outside and yelled at me saying I was telling his staff they couldn’t park on the street. I’ve never spoken to his staff. He can shove it if that’s how he treats potential customers. Wanted to try this place sometime but now he’s just opened up trouble.

Food is really good, fresh, made to order and affordable. Selection of craft beers surprisingly good too. Chicken wrap, not frozen burger and fresh cut French fries are worth the walk or bike from C&O canal path. Don’t judge this book by its cover. Bathrooms were clean too.

Many years ago I used to patronize this place regularly. It was called Pecks tavern. They have made numerous upgrades. The bar area is much bigger.
