and cheese. Super yummy! Thank you for another great lunch Kim W. and Cooper’s Hawk!
They expect you to pay $19 for a ground-up chicken patty you could easily find at a local soup kitchen.
The drinks, like the sangria, were super strong yet somehow still too sweet. You can tell they were made with cheap liquor.
As for the staff, my waitress—born in 2004—proceeded to call me “hun” while practically tossing my food onto the table. When it came to dietary preferences, I was told to “scrape and eat around” the things I’m allergic to. They don’t allow you to remove items you’re allergic to from your dish, and there are no dairy-free options at all. She didn’t make any effort to accommodate her customers or guests. And when I asked for more bread, since there was nothing else I could safely eat, she took an unusually long time to return with extra rolls.
The seating is unusually close, to the point where you can barely hear the people at your own table. Waiters are forced to squeeze through aisles they can barely walk through because the restaurant clearly cares more about packing the place to capacity than providing a comfortable dining experience.
Mind you, this was my mother’s 60th birthday dinner—and they charged us seven dollars for a plate with nothing but breadcrumbs and chocolate syrup written on it.
Overall, you are not going to get your money’s worth.
I ordered Dana’s Chicken, and it was cooked to absolute perfection…flavorful, and beautifully presented. Everything from the food to the service exceeded my expectations, and it’s clear that the staff truly cares about providing a great dining experience.
I’ll definitely be coming back and will be asking for Natalie again. Highly recommend both the restaurant and the dish!
I bought 2 surf and turf dinners for $100, and usually the food is excellent, but I guess because I ordered carryout on a Thursday the quality in the food fell short. I asked for my steak to be well well with no pink and I didn’t get that.
The volume of customers were low so I think it’s safe to say to try and frequent food establishments when the customer volume is high and they’re churning out orders at a rapid pace like on the weekends because from my experience it seems like food quality is low during the week.
I would expect a brand like Cooper’s Hawk to be consistent and above the standard at all times, but wishful thinking right? Not pleased this time!
