The outdoor patio was absolutely beautiful—clean, comfortable, and well cared for, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal in the metro area. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, with neatly arranged tables and a pleasant vibe throughout. Even the restrooms were spotless and well maintained, showing that the staff takes real pride in keeping the entire place looking great. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and seated outside just as we requested. Our server was friendly and attentive, though service was a little slow at times. I ordered the buffalo chicken salad, which was flavorful, fresh, and came in a generous portion. The prices were fair, and while the house red wine was just okay, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. This is clearly a great place to visit for good food, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent cleanliness. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

First trip to Sarna’s and was a nice experience. Very neat, clean and spacious interior. Service was prompt and our waitress was excellent. Skipped the appetizer and went directly to the main entree. My guest enjoyed the pierogis and sausage while I polished off the meatloaf dinner which included three large pieces of grilled meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy plus a nice vegetable medley.
Reasonably priced and well worth the price. If you are heading to Minneapolis for an event from the north would highly recommend stopping by. You won’t be disappointed.

Friendly waitstaff, great food.
I was in for the Sunday brunch. They served a good variety of foods including Caesar salad, prime rib, a delicious pasta dish, mash potatoes, bbq meatball, ribs, and the usual breakfast fair , eggs ( one scrambled egg, and another with bacon and cheese) bacon , two kinds of sausage, French toast waffles, and fresh fruit. Also with the brunch your served a cinnamon roll as big around as a dessert plate and about 3 inches tall at a highest point with a cream cheese icing that’s wonderful. I tried was delicious and fresh. Definitely worth the drive ( I live on the other side of at TC metro area).

If you are looking for a low to mid-quality experience at slightly upscale prices, Sarnas is your place!
Wife had the Chicken Salad Sandwich and I had the Buffalo Chicken Salad. We feel we could have gotten a higher quality product for both entrees at any random Cubs Foods. Good tap list but mix drinks were very mediocre.
All that said, the Butterscotch Bread Pudding was absolutely incredible.
If you are planning on going to Sarnas, go just for a beer and dessert.

They have such good food and so many great servers. The place feels like your walking into a cozy home and you just want to stay there forever. I really wish that there was a way that I could order the whole menu.

First, let me say I typically like this place a lot. Good food, good drinks, the cod is bland, all else has been tasty and I simple love the Prime Rib. Bingo Saturdays are typically fun and attract a big crowd. Average guest any day here is older it seems, but I feel like the older people often know the best classic American food. This is not a place where they trying to be Gordon Ramsey.
I was surprised yesterday to have a bad encounter with a hostess. Very young girl-woman, maybe 19-20, long white blond hair and in need of customer service training. My friend and I walked into the lobby/front desk. A group of maybe five were in front, looked like they were talking/waiting. I walked up to the desk and said “Table for two?” She said “Well these people were ahead of you” I replied “I’m aware of that. I am asking if you are taking names”. At that, she took my name. A few minutes later says it will be 20-30 minutes (that part is not her fault, obviously).
REALLY Sarnas? This person basically snorted off at me, acting like I was a borish butt ahead? The large party was talking amongst themselves, clearly! I did a perfectly normal thing!
We ended up leaving after a wait because no one was exiting (again, not the restaurants fault, it happens).
Truly though, Sarnas can you train your hostess’ do they don’t snot off at guests? I’ve worked restaurants- I’d have gotten sacked or at the least lectured for that. Yikes.

We love the Monday steak special, so we decided to try the Wednesday chicken wing special, $15 for 20 wings. We were very pleased with the size and quality of the wings. I really like the sweet and spicy sauce. 20 wings are plenty for 2 people. Our wait staff was very pleasant!

Yesterday was not our best experience at Sarnas. Our party of 3 walked out after waiting almost a half hour for our waitress. After we got seated she did take our drink order and brought it, she then disappeared, took another tables order , spoke to the 3 people in the booth across from us and disappeared into the kitchen after my daughter approached her and asked if she might take our order! We come to this place probably once a month and have never been treated like this, we were sitting in a booth by the windows on the patio side. We got there about 3:20, meat raffle was almost done, we bought tickets for the last item and then sat there until almost 4. We did leave $12 for our drinks…. But so disappointed and I won’t get my SIL to go back there for quite awhile.
