Ordered takeout of guacamole, queso, and steak and chicken quesadilla. The quesadilla had no cheese just meat and vegetables. The rice side was only about a 1/4 cup. The queso was burnt water cheese and the guacamole was just plain mashed avocado. Not sure what has changed but save yourself some money and go somewhere else. The only pleasurable experience this trip was the lady who took my order and my payment. 10/10 do not recommend.

Worst want to be imitation Mexican food I have ever tasted. Flauta was soggy and chicken inside was burnt- tostada/ chalupa was soggy as was the chile relleno. Everything smothered in white cheese sauce . Salsa was watered down . Music blaring to hard rock BUT the decor was great !They totally missed their mark on the food. I am shocked and embarrassed to call it Mexican food . Frozen patio dinners from supermarket anyone?
As I write this my stomach is cramping with the tasting of each item I mentioned. $40 later we left with only sampling our plates.

Salsa was disgusting as were all the dips, except the cheese dip. Enchilada were nasty, meat was not seasoned at all. Waitress admitted they microwave the tortillas then put them in the oven. Sauce on top of the Enchilada was not eatable. Drinks were good. Wait staff was dressed inappropriate. 1st and last time eating there. And yelling hello across the restaurant is very unprofessional your not the waffle house.

The vibrant flavors of the Street Tacos truly stood out, providing an authentic experience of Mexican cuisine. The staff’s friendliness added to the welcoming atmosphere, making it an enjoyable dining experience. The option to create a taco platter with various kinds adds a delightful element of customization. The spicy sauce, with its perfect kick, complemented the tacos exceptionally well, leaving me thoroughly satisfied. A definite go-to for anyone craving an excellent Mexican feast!

Salsa taste like spaghetti sauce tested other sauces that they had thinking Maybe we just got the wrong one no those were just as bad so order guacamole you can’t go wrong with guacamole right can’t really mess that up. They managed to totally totally make it taste like something besides avocados, nothing like guacamole we ordered the Enchilada la Crème which is supposed to be enchiladas with sour cream sauce well I want you to know prisoners in TCJ trays look better than this food looked my gosh, and there was chipotle sauce instead of sour cream sauce, which was disgusting. The tortillas were like rubber and the beans and rice taste like they come out of the TV dinner, come on man dang you wanna charge money for this slop y’all need to close the doors cause whoever come up with these recipes don’t know what the hell they’re doing. I’m so sorry. The waitress was crying when I left because I was telling her how much I hated the food we did not eat any of it one bite and I could not do it the only thing that tasted good was the iced tea with lemon and she made that so kudos to her and yes, I did leave her a tip because it’s not her fault that the food is horrible. I feel sorry for her. There was not anyone in the restaurant not one. We were the only ones there it was dead ..sorry hate to be so brutally honest but probably the worst place I’ve ever ever ate Mexican food in my life.

I’ve been buying chips & salsa to go from here for 3 years cause it’s the only Mexican Restaurant in this area. I always order a large salsa & queso. Recently, they have went down on their sizes. I’m not happy about it cause it’s not even half of what I’m used to getting. I wonder what their small orders of dip look like. Today, I was even more disappointed when I got home. They didn’t even give me half a bag of chips & some of them are burnt. On top of that, there waitstaff is not welcoming. The woman didn’t even acknowledge me when I came in & looked right me & didn’t smile & kept walking. The lady that works the front is nice but that waitress is not. When I asked about the salsa being smaller she just gave me a dirty look. I will not be back. I will drive to Jasper from now on. Very disappointing & not my money’s worth.

I have always loved Mexican food and have had the same dish at this restaurant several times before. The service was subpar( all 3 of our glasses were empty before we got a refill. The food was scorched and my wife got sick later. I am a huge fan of Mexican food (I could eat it everyday) but I don’t think I will shadow this doorstep again. Chips were fresh and salsa was great but that was the end of the good!!! I would rather dive in to Jasper than eat here again … I don’t know what changed. I loved this place before last night.

I got enchiladas supreme plate and a small chips and white queso togo last night. This is my second time getting food togo from here. Both times the food was disgusting. The enchadas tasted like water. I don’t know how they did that but they did. It comes with 4 different encladas: the cheese in the cheese enchilada was shredded cheese that wasn’t even melted, the beef enchilada was roast beef , I couldn’t make out what the other enchilada even was, the shredded chicken enchilada was ok other than tasting like water. The white queso was good and the chip with them but when you pay $5 for a little bag of chips and not even a 4th of a single serving container of white queso I was ripped off. Couldn’t eat the food it was so nasty. And there were no beans or rice with the plate. 4 water enchiladas and some nasty lettuce and sour cream that tasted off for a plate for $12.99 was a joke. Never will be going back. 1st time I can understand an off day, 2nd time it’s not an off day… it’s a quality issue. Need a new cook and better ingredients. Even the free hot salsa was as if they took some chillis and tomatoes, masked them up, put them in some water and strained it out. There’s a point when you need to stop watering down the salsa to extend it’s life. I feel like I just paid $20 for water for the whole meal. Do yourself a favor and don’t eat here.
