Don’t waste a loved ones birthday celebrate here. We had a relatives birthday party feb 1st at noon and I was constantly getting up to fill pitchers and throwing away trash. Ect. Whatever, sometimes folks need help. I ended up buying an extra pizza, which the employee helping us said I would have to have a card on file. Fine. Total was 20.01. I paid cash. It was funny trying to find a penny but it created a good conversation why people find pennies worthless. We cleared the room and went to go play lazer tag. While walking away I saw the same employee starting to clear tables. Lazer tag was a whole other pain but overall we had fun in there. We left and now I see my card was charged on top of them taking the cash. Go ahead and keep it. However, to protect families I feel obligated to at least post a review. Folks stay away, go somewhere else.

I ate at BLVD twice while I was in Bakersfield and also spent some time playing games there. Overall, the experience was mixed. The food was good both times, and the prices were fair for what you get, which is definitely a plus and the main reason for the three-star rating.
Unfortunately, the service at the bar really took away from the experience. Both bartenders I interacted with came across as rude and lacked basic customer service skills. There was very little friendliness or acknowledgment, and it felt like customers were more of a bother than a priority.
It’s disappointing because the food, prices, and atmosphere have potential to make this a great spot to eat and hang out. With improved customer service—especially behind the bar—this place could be much better. As it stands now, it’s an okay experience, but the service keeps it from being truly enjoyable.

We came for a Junior convention with a bunch of kids. Evan and Thip were the most gracious hosts! They were so patient with all our kids and all our orders (we are a party of 24). They were consistent with reassuring we got everything we needed, everything came out in a timely manner, they were so kind and professional. They turned a crazy evening into a fun, great experience! And the FOOD! It was delicious! A lot better than we anticipated for a family fun place. The BLVD set the bar and it is high. Blackened salmon is definitely a favorite! With our huge party we each got something off the menu and everything was up to our expectations! Thank you Evan and Thip!!

I want to give a huge shoutout to Carlos and Shawna tonight. While my family and I were simply trying to enjoy our evening, another family became aggressive toward us. It was upsetting and completely unnecessary.
Shawna immediately stepped in, moved us to another area of the restaurant, and made sure we felt comfortable and safe. Both she and Carlos went above and beyond with their professionalism, kindness, and incredible service.
It’s unfortunate how awful people can be sometimes, but moments like this remind me there are still amazing people out there. Thank you, Carlos and Shawna, for turning a stressful situation into one where we felt cared for and protected. We truly appreciate you.

I had a birthday gathering over at the BLVD and it was fun. The staff was very friendly, they showed us how to reserve bowling lanes, as well as the games and points systems. The food was delicious. I love the variety of options they have at the blvd. I also admired that they have drink menu for those who do not drink alcohol, they have a variety drinks especially for those who have a sweet tooth. The dessert menu is also phenomenal.

My grandkids introduced me to this place and it was a very positive experience. There was a clean and fairly quiet restaurant separate from the games area. Although a bit pricey the food was good and my picky eater grandson ate his kid sized pizza. My granddaughter had the Mac and Cheese with inside of fruit. She cleaned her bowl completely and it was a fairly large portion! As the Nana, I have my own Fules “Constitution and Bill of Rights” so I was allowed one bite of everything to “test for excellence”. A really great Mac and Cheese. The pizza was pretty good too. My chopped chicken chaser salad was good. A little heavy on the lettuce and the chicken was a little dry but it was still tasty!

Quite a few games not working, I would say about 40%. Service was slow, had to flag someone down several times to which the response was “I’ll have someone come to you right away”. “Right away” was 34 minutes. My kids didn’t seem to mind most of it but for me the cash to enjoyment value wasn’t quite there. If you’re happy to spend $250+ for mediocre fun, this is the place for you.

Good atmosphere for an arcade place. However,
Service blows. Ordered my drink waited a solid 30 mins, just for my cocktail taste absolutely disgusting. So not impressed Waitress didn’t check on us and could only do bare-minimum for the bad service.

My daughter’s birthday party at The BLVD on 12/13/25 ended with an unacceptable and unprofessional situation created entirely by staff.
At the conclusion of the event, the party host and shift manager accused me of having nine additional people bowling and attempted to charge me an extra $350. No one could verify the count, no proof was provided, and no effort was made to review cameras, lane usage, or guest lists to support the claim.
When I asked to resolve the issue, the shift manager refused to speak with me further and instead addressed guests who were not on the contract and had no authority over the event. That behavior alone shows a serious lack of professionalism and training.
Later that evening, the event manager called me, apologized, and stated that I would be receiving compensation due to how the situation was handled. Since then, management has gone completely silent. Every call I’ve made goes straight to voicemail, and no one has followed up as promised.
This is not about the money — it’s about being falsely accused, dismissed, and then ignored after an apology was given. Families deserve transparency, accountability, and follow-through, especially when hosting children’s events.
Management: please respond and resolve this issue. Ignoring it only reinforces the concerns raised here.
