The Black Iron works closely with local ranchers and purveyors in order to give you the freshest and highest quality food and alcohol available. Some of the Montana producers we use are: Harding Beef in Miles City, Ryan’s Grocery in Jordan, Montana, Simpson Honey Farms, Wheat Montana, Red Lodge Ales, Yellowstone Cellars, and the Beaver Creek Brewery. Our rotisserie is 100% American made and is fired by Pecan wood. The Black Iron Grill has several interesting features that are easily noticeable. The beams located over the bar were reclaimed from the Old Milwaukee Roundhouse, which was destroyed in a fire. The 1910 steam powered iron bender located at the front of the Black Iron Grill was also reclaimed from the same his

Reviews
Side sald came just in 3-5min and steak came in apropriate timing (may be 10-15min, may be less, but timing was perfect!)
Steak was cooked just perfectly as I ordered it, and mpre- it tasted even better than I expected! The only ‘con’ – it lasted not too lpng, so have to come back again for another one
Beer… Those I tried- are within top-10 I tried nationwide (reds/ambers)!
And this review wouldn’t be full if I don’t mention staff. Ashlee and Amber are absolute gem, all requests fullfilled in time, had some cool talks to them too. And I bet the rest of staff is great too, but hadn’t have a chance to talk to them.
Can’t wait to see them again!
The staff is always nice and attentive. The atmosphere is welcoming and high-end casual…you can walk in with jeans and still feel like you’re getting a delicious meal.
Every time we’ve eaten here, the food has been delicious. A few of our favorites: the french onion soup, ribeye, and cowboy candy. We’ve also tried almost all of the desserts and enjoy those as well.
We definitely recommend the Black Iron Grill when you’re in the area.
The best way to judge a restaurant is with the simple question: Would you come back? My answer—absolutely yes!
We had salmon with a delicious salad and a pork steak that was simply melt-in-your-mouth good. The service was professional, attentive, and always with a smile.
