Our party of 3 are here in Lynchburg for LU’s CFAW. We tried this place out tonight for the first time ever. We wish one existed where we live!
We waited just under 30 minutes for a table, but the wait was worth it. It was a Friday night at dinner time so we didn’t mind. Our server was awesome. She would refresh a beverage before it was all the way gone! She was friendly, helpful and very attentive.
Our food came out fast and was delicious. We had a great time. Despite the initial wait and how busy they were we didn’t feel rushed to get out. Thanks for a great time!

Iron and Ale has been on our to do list for 4 years. Worth the wait. Service really took this visit to the next level. Tiffany was awesome! Offered samples of beers and wines to make our meal amazing. Salmon, Mediterranean quinoa, and mushroom risotto were excellent. Hubby wasn’t crazy about the Cuban twist on the Ruban, but he’s a picky eater. Would definitely come back!! Grande finale was the dessert martini. YUMMO-O

We stopped in off the highway when driving through Virginia. We had a very good dinner. The beer selection was surprisingly good with several options from local breweries and ones in the northeast as well. We sat at a booth in the bar; the food was very good and the service was great.

We stopped at Iron & Ale on our way through Virginia and we weren’t disappointed! The atmosphere is lively and the staff were very friendly. When my husband asked what the best thing on the menu was, our waitress didn’t hesitate with a suggestion and she nailed it! And, save room for dessert even if you have to take it to go! We will definitely be back!

Braxton was our server, very respectful and nice. Super funny guy, he made our night. He was available whenever we needed him and he had great hair too! He should be here every weekend. Maybe even then bar too would be such a great and social person to talk to. Even if you lonely he so be great to just have conversation with.

I have gone to Iron & Ale for a while and our server Louie S. was by far the best server I’ve had! They were very engaged in bourbon and very respectful of my request. It is very rare that someone pays close attention to detail and respects the request of a customer. I ordered a George T. Stagg and is was the best bourbon I’ve had! 142.8 proof hazmat and the conversation of bourbon was just very comforting with Louie. I have allocated bottles, but I am very glad that I can try new things that I do not have! I really enjoy the environment and options that Iron and Ale gives! It is my favorite to go place in town!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Iron & Ale Lynchburg Tap and Table with my family, and we were thoroughly impressed!
From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome and at ease. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a great selection of craft beers and a menu that catered to both kids and adults.
Our server was absolutely amazing – friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They took the time to answer all our questions and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
The food was delicious, with generous portions and plenty of options to suit every taste. I did find the blue cheese dressing to be a bit runnier than I prefer, but it didn’t detract from our overall enjoyment of the meal.

Stopped for dinner while in town for a meeting. We were seated quickly and had great service. The food was great. Crab cakes were cooked perfectly. Will go out of my way to eat here next time I’m in Lynchburg.
