I have to say maybe I went on an “off” day. But I had high hopes only to be left disappointed. The waitress was short & rude. Clearly she was more interested in her regulars as she was helping guests at other tables. She even at one point forgot we were even there while we waited for the check. Obviously they can improve on customer service, we’ll at least her. Now the food.. Ehh I was not impressed by any means. I ordered the lunch special chicken parm & well it was tasteless & the chicken was more then likely cooked the night before. The cutlet was like rubber & thin. Good thing I ordered a side of meatballs because the chicken was trash. The meatballs were a good size & came out with a good amount of sauce. Overall I was underwhelmed. Its sad because the employees now a days have no idea how important service is to keep these businesses open. Maybe when she dont have a job she will change.

No atmosphere, very dark/drab/no natural light. It looks like it hasn’t been updated since 1972. The chairs are super hard and uncomfortable. The other thing I couldn’t believe is the bread situation. Normally when you go to an Italian restaurant, or any for that matter, you get some decent bread loaf – here, they serve hamburger rolls! Oh my gosh I couldn’t believe it. This needs improvement.

What food is very good is the lasagna – really really good. What was awful and I would not recommend the chicken fingers (with fries) greasy, and unedible.

If you come strictly for the lasagna, then this is fine, but I would take it to go – since there is no ‘atmosphere’ at all – quite noisy, and takes a long time for food to arrive (over 40 minutes had to wait).

Food was good. Not great. I ordered the ziti parmed, and my sister got the linguine with clam sauce. I think she liked her dish more than I liked mine. Portions are a good size.

Food was huge, reasonable and delicious. Waitress was on it! We had the antipasto salad, lasagne and fettuccine alfredo and it came with delicious rolls and butter.

My dear friend Joe Jack of Kenmore and his family have made LaBella Sicilia, 2909 Genesee St., their spot for Monday Night Pasta for years. I was recently invited and amazingly it was my first time there. I thought I had tried every Italian restaurant inWNY. Wow, what a place. The service, the servers, the ambiance and the quality of the food was over the top. I had a veal dish with pasta on the side and the veal was outstanding and their tomato sauce rivaled my mom’s. I will be back again and again. Joe introduced me to the hard working owner. Love the place!

**First time eating here. Went for takeout.**
Saw the prices and thought, *”Hmm, these portions are probably snack-sized. Better load up.”*
Oh, how innocent I was.

My first warning sign? The guy taking my order **started laughing**—not politely, but like I’d just told him I was planning to eat the entire left side of the menu. I thought he was just friendly. In hindsight… no. He knew.

I ordered a few meals: stuffed peppers, an extra meatball (because why not), and two desserts.
What I got? Enough food to feed myself, three friends, and maybe a small marching band.

Each entree came with **half a sub roll**—like it was their way of saying, *”You’re gonna need this to mop up the food avalanche.”*
And the meatball? It wasn’t a meatball. It was a **meat meteor**. Legit the size of a baseball. I’m pretty sure it has its own gravitational pull.

And the packaging? Oh, they *tried* to pack it normally. Everything was in its own container, very neat and orderly—but there was so much food, **they had to put it all in pizza boxes.** Not for pizza. Just for structural integrity. No single bag could support the sheer mass of it all. It needed the **full support of cardboard engineering.**

Everything was delicious, everything was massive, and I now understand why the guy on the phone sounded like he was witnessing a rookie walk into a food showdown.

10/10 would order again—next time with reinforcements.

We love La Bella’s. Dine in is always preferred, get there early or call ahead. My group got an assortment of food on our recent visit. All was great. I got the chicken parm combo platter with stuffed shells, lasagna, chicken cutlet and side of ziti. Truly devine!

A classic Italian American restaurant with a no-frills approach. Generous portions, fair prices. The dishes came out hot and staff were professional. Be ready for a cheesy, saucy, bundle of carbs! They also provide rolls to munch on as you wait for your food. The space is dated and could use a refresh – but you can’t beat the bang for your buck here. Great for old and young, something to please everyone.

I ordered the Veal Margherita cutlets while my girlfriend had the Pasta Alfredo. Unfortunately, the Veal Margherita was extremely disappointing — it was completely overwhelmed by the so-called “wine butter sauce,” which made the dish unpleasant to eat.

Our server, a young woman, was polite but unprofessional; she never once checked on our table during the meal. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and she initially offered to remove the dish from the bill, I appreciated the gesture — however, she later returned from the kitchen and refused to honour that offer.

While my girlfriend’s Pasta Alfredo was quite good, the overall experience left a poor impression. I won’t be returning, mainly due to the lack of accountability and inconsistency in customer service.
