Wow.. I haven’t been here for years, but glad I was able to enjoy the long weekend family day dinner buffet. Everything was really yummy and tasty just as I remembered..
it’s too bad that they don’t have dinner buffet anymore, but the lunch buffet is still available. Do yourself a favour and definitely try this place right here in Burnaby Vancouver border authentic Indian cuisine.!!

Visited the saffron Indian restaurant with some friends for the buffet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was good service. The food was good, but there wasn’t a huge selection, but I think this is typical for an average Indian buffet unless you go to a very high-end place so the food was good for the price paid. The price was reasonable. I went with a large group and everyone was having the buffet so I just decided to do that too but next time I would probably just order what I want off the menu.

My family and I came here for a buffet lunch and had a wonderful experience! The buffet had a great variety for everyone in our group. We loved every dish, especially the eggplant & butter chicken. We were impressed with the quality of the buffet, and is definitely one of the best value for price in town. Additionally, the service was great and the staff were very friendly. We can’t wait to come back soon and would highly recommend Saffron Indian Cuisine to all of our friends.

Exceptional Service and absolutely delicious , authentic and fresh indian/Punjabi dishes !!! My favorites include chicken curry, saag chicken, and the best Bhindi and Bhartha !!! Its Same freshness and great whether you dine there or order. The dinner and lunch buffets are fantastic, with great variety of dishes and flavors. Fresh Tandoori Chicken!!! Naans are fresh, delicious and the rice is perfect and fluffy. Great portions too! They also host large groups! We celebrated my Mother in laws birthday dinner for about 12 people and just a few days ago my Birthday with 22 people with 3 toddlers and 4 seniors ! The Buffet was a big hit as well the a la carte dishes! Great memories, ambience and above and beyond super service ! It’s my go to place for Indian cuisine!! It’s family owned and operated for 30 years !!! You can’t go wrong !! Must Try !! 5 stars every time !!!

I went today with a friend for the lunch buffet. We used to go for this then it was discontinued. My friend let me know it was back so we had to go back. The food was as good as we remembered if not better. The butter chicken was still the star of the buffet with big chunks of chicken and rich flavor. The tandoori chicken was tender with lots of flavor. The curry chicken was very good as was the paneer.
We will be going again soon for the buffet and the very friendly service.
