Terrible Experience at Asian City
I was hoping for bold flavors and fresh ingredients, but the meal was terrible. The dishes lacked any distinctive seasoning, no spice, no depth, and the meat and vegetables lacked freshness. It all felt as though it had been prepared long before it reached the table. Overall, it was a deeply disappointing experience, and I won’t be returning.

The buffet was lack luster at best. The food was not good, lacked flavor, some dry or crunchy. They were slow picking up the plates. The meat was dry, and gristly. Half the desserts looked like they came packed from somewhere else.

This is my second review for Asian City. I absolutely love the food here. It’s always hot and fresh. It’s a small restaurant with that mom and pop vibe. Definitely my go to spot for good asian food.
Update: Went back again as this is my favorite Asian place near me. Food is always consistent and delicious. Got the General Tso lunch special with egg drop soup and a side of crab rangoons. So Good! Shout out to the great staff!

I love this place! I have been coming to this place since they opened. Recently they replaced their dining room tables and I love them. I love the owner she’s super friendly. It’s a family owned business they have their kids working there which I love to see. Definitely try this one out.

Update went back again 2 weeks later and tried the sesame chicken, General Tso chicken again, and the pork lo mein. Absolutely delicious food again! This will be my new main go-to spot. Can’t beat it for the price.

The restaurant was clean. The food was good and they had it out to us relatively quickly. We have tried a couple areas here in the Queen Creek Santan area and this one is by far my favorite.

Good spot for quick Chinese food… definitely a nice change from the location across the street. Been here several times since they opened. Veggies feel fresh and crunchy. They don’t overly batter the chicken dishes. They really pack the “to go” dishes and we eat left overs for at a day. Love the sauces of various dishes. Grab a random selection of dishes to share family style!

This is one of our favorite mom and pop Chinese restaurants in Gilbert. Our favorite dish here is Jalapeño Chicken. We’ve been here at least 10 times and we get it every time we come. The jalapeño chicken is crispy, sweet, and spicy. We’ve tried quite a few other things on the menu as well. Most everything is good and very similar to what you get in most other restaurants. The jalapeño chicken is what keeps us coming back. It’s much better if you sit down and eat it at the restaurant, but it’s still delicious if you take it to go and eat it at home.
