This place is so dirty (the pictures do no justice) that I’ll never be there again. The bun was hard and the meat over cooked. There were fries all over the service area floor and the attendants didn’t obviously care. I wonder if the owner of that location go visit and see the mess that store is in. The employees were messy and the girl that serving food needed to brush that hair badly. I asked “don’t you ppl clean?” and I was told “nope, we don’t have time.” Lastly, the soda machine didn’t have soda and I had to ask for a straw, napkins and ketchup. They just don’t care. Never again!

ATTENTION:Tom Jr !!!!! THIS PLACE NEEDS ADULT SUPERVISION….Where do I begin? OH MY GOD! FILTHY! Employees on cell phones when cleaning desperately needed to be done. Black male employee filling a French fry cooler with no gloves & every time he turned his head away his dreadlocks would fling inward into where the french fries were being stored. The french fries were not in bags they were loose. So if anybody complains of black hair in their french fries you’ll know where it came from. Areas where drinks are poured Etc with soaked napkins and other items they are not being cleaned up. French fries everywhere, papers everywhere, soda Lids everywhere. The floor had muddy Footprints coming in from outside. The front hallway was muddy footprinted .Tables with garbage left from people who had eaten and not put their stuff in the garbage can. Garbage cans not emptied. 1 male youth sleeping at a table. People hanging around in the parking lot listening to music and their vehicles full blast.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! DANGEROUS and VIOLENT. Customers physically BLOCKED me, threatened and intimidated me from picking up my food from the counter due to my racial difference (Latina) while staff just watched from behind the counter. Environment not inclusive, not diverse and racially extremely tense. 3 customers screaming and swearing at me due to my skin color when I politely said “excuse me” to get mine and my kids’ meals. The employees just watched and failed to help me and my two small children get their after school snack that we had already paid for. When I finally put myself in harm’s way to get the food since no employees were willing to help, the other 3 customers continued screaming at me and threatening me. Then the employees behind the counter were giving me dirty looks and not helping me at all to get the rest of my order. I WILL NEVER BE BACK. TOO DANGEROUS. The lives of a mother and her small children are not worth it. I called the customer service line and although they promised me that the owner would call me back about the unsafe, prejudicial and hostile environment, I never received a call from the owner who apparently does not care.

This is by and far the worst McDonald’s in the whole chain. Customer service is in the negative. One of the few stores where the employees go out of their way to ignore the customer. It took me over an hour to get an order. The question is how much business this store could actually do if there was competent help working there. It’s time to terminate all and start over again. And with all this I didn’t even mention the 16 year panhandle who was walking up to all the customer begging for money in his brand new designer clothes. This store is on autopilot.

Disgusting Experience at McDonald’s on Mohawk Street, Utica
I’ve been to McDonald’s locations all across the tri-state area, and I can confidently say that the ones in the Mohawk Valley—especially this location on Mohawk Street in Utica—are by far the worst I’ve ever encountered. This visit was an absolute nightmare, and I’m beyond disappointed.
The kitchen was an outright mess—floors covered in fries, random receipts, and who-knows-what-else scattered everywhere. There were paper towels just sitting on the counter, and the overall state of the place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in hours, if not days. I get that fast food can be hectic, but this level of filth is unacceptable. It made me seriously question the hygiene standards here and whether my food was even safe to eat.
Compared to other McDonald’s in the region, the Mohawk Valley locations are consistently subpar. I’ve never had an issue with cleanliness or service at spots in Albany, Syracuse, or even smaller towns, but every time I visit one in this area, it’s a gamble. This location takes the cake for being the most disgusting fast food spot I’ve ever stepped foot in. Save yourself the trouble and drive a bit further to a cleaner, better-managed McDonald’s. I won’t be coming back here anytime soon.

Probably one of the worst McDonald’s locations I’ve ever been to. It’s better to stay hungry than order from this place. Three times in two weeks, they’ve missed items from my bag. Not sure if the staff are careless or intentionally removing items, but it’s unacceptable.

I will never go to this McDonald’s again. I went to order some fries so when I got the fries they was cold so when they gave me fresh fries you couldn’t even eat them because it was so much salt on them. No wonder why they was laughing. Sept 12, 2025 at 7:15pm. I don’t know if this girl was the manager or supervisor but the way she talk to the employees she needs to go or get retrained.
