Nestled beside the ECHO Leahy Center and Burlington’s Waterfront Park, The Skinny Pancake is a charming brunch stop that feels perfectly at home in its surroundings. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, making it an inviting place to slow down after a museum visit or a stroll along the lake.

I ordered one of their sweet crêpes, generously dressed with chocolate sauce, banana slices, and strawberries. Each bite was indulgent and full of flavor—rich yet balanced, with fresh fruit adding brightness to the sweetness. It works equally well as a hearty breakfast or as an afternoon pick-me-up.

With its approachable menu and laid-back ambiance, The Skinny Pancake is an ideal choice for a weekend family meal or a casual dessert stop. It’s a reliably satisfying spot and well worth a visit when exploring Burlington’s waterfront.

I am a freshman BHS student, and today, I am looking for a place that sells milkshakes and has a great atmosphere, also a good place to study, and I stumbled upon the perfect restaurant: The Skinny Pancake

The atmosphere was very cozy, and there was even a kid’s playground. Very kid friendly! The service was also superb! The waiter is really friendly to kids and I definitely recommend you to come here if you got a family of kids The Vanilla Milkshake was pretty average though, but that’s to be expected. This is a very good environment for me to study in!

Overall, this restaurant has good-average food, the service and atmosphere is crazy good! Very kid friendly as well! Good place to study.

1st time in and 1st time having a savory crepe. Ordered the chicken bacon ranch and was happy with it! Side of greens it came with helped balance. The curds were just ok, a bit salty; side of marinara tiny. Atmosphere: didn’t like sitting so close to others to feel like we’re dining together. Service: there wasn’t any. No servers. Appreciated the ability to call ahead for waitlist.

We came here on a busy Sunday for brunch. Our group was pretty large so we split up into two tables. The staff was pretty accommodating and helped out. You place your order at the register and they bring the food to your table when it’s ready. There’s quite a few options to choose from, both savoury and sweet. We got an apple and brie crepe and a breakfast burrito, along with some fried cheese curds which were delicious.

Super cool Spot for breakfast or lunch that’s right by the water. Got the heartbreaker which was strawberries and banana with Nutella. It was so good and it was a good portion as well. I also got a side of home fries but I wasn’t able to finish it. The pesto sauce complimented it really well. Cashier was super friendly and let us sample some cider since we were indecisive.

This place was cozy and absolutely perfect for a snowy Burlington morning. The warm, inviting atmosphere made it the ideal spot to settle in and relax.

Since it was Valentine’s Day, I decided to splurge on the “Love Maker” crêpe, filled with strawberries and chocolate. It felt festive and indulgent — just the right treat for the occasion. My latte was hot and delicious, exactly what you want on a cold winter day.

All in all, it was a wonderful start to a very good day.

I have visited this location for many years since my first visit nearly 10 years ago to the Grace Potter Grand Point North festival. I come from Maine and I have to eat here every time at least once because the food is great, the service is epic, and the atmosphere is just perfect. It’s a good vibe. “Noah’s Ark” is my favorite breakfast dish and the home fries with the various dipping sauces (Chipotle Mayo is my choice) are always a must.. Nom.

I especially love where you go to the restrooms with all of the beautiful sea creatures and jungle animals painted on the walls. It’s just amazing. My most recent visit, I had a good chat with the day manager.. I think she said her name was Megan? So sorry if I got that wrong. And I also appreciate your patience for me to write this review. It’s been a super busy last few days. Haha She (you, if you are reading this) was so helpful and instantly offered to help me as I came in for a takeout box. While she was going to the back to grab some takeout boxes for me and some more for up front for others to take, another associate asked me if I needed help. Everyone is so willing to help and you can just really tell it’s a great working environment. Great job and looking forward to coming back next time I visit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I recently visited The Skinny Pancake, and I can’t stop thinking about it! This cozy spot is a crepe lover’s dream come true. Staff was friendly but not very independent we had to do certain stuff by ourselves, food was great. I had the LoveMaker

Went for Sunday brunch. Place was busy but there was plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoor. Good vibe. Looks like they are set up for live music outside, which would be great on a balmy summer evening. I had “The Vegan” which had seitan and vegetables and vegan cheese on a buckwheat crepe. Also a vegan chocolate milkshake. All very good. Note also the hallway to the bathrooms features an endangered species 270 degree visual and audio experience. Check it out!
