I understand its lunch hour, but they need to do better.
Today I ordered a number 4 and ten minutes later I was brought a number 1 (because 1 and 4 sound exactly the same) by a car hop that clearly didn’t want to be at work. And everything was cold.
Never coming back.
I don’t think customers service is easy but she makes it more difficult than it should be. It’s her job to do your job she needs to learn how to do it. Yesterday I came through and it was surprisingly smooth except they took forever 20 minutes to get a soda out again and sofa water out, yes, it was a busy time but it’s a soda water. The man next to me got his food and beverage before I did and he came after me it was probably the same child manager that delayed my drink because of the day before, of course I’m assuming that’s why it takes 20 minutes to get a soda water out again. And then she was going to charge me four extra dollars for extra lemon and lime, so my soda water was going to be $10. That was passive aggressive!! Obviously, I said I need three lemons and three limes and she removed the extra extra extra charges. Then today I get my order everything is going very smooth. It’s $2.15 then they change the amount mid process of my card which I still think it went through, they claim it did not. They changed the price to $4.95. Without telling me anything. This is stealing when I’m paying what was quoted to me and they don’t come on and tell me what’s wrong. If they would have just told me I would have understood but I received unneeded adolescent attitude. I had to called them and say why is it twice as much? The child manager with poor customer service skills again responds with It was wrong charge he’s new to that’s how it’s going to be! Do you want it or not, yes or no? Completely disrespectful. I said , it is stealing when you change my price in the middle of transaction without consenting and asking me that is stealing, it’s not appropriate and it’s illegal. Again she said, I’m the manager and that’s how it’s going to be! Do you want it? I said who is your manager, and then she changed her tune and got the other manager to approve it, “THIS TIME ONLY SHE SCREAMS !” I asked if the transaction went through and the other manager go in the speaker and claimed it did not clear.Hears the thing you cannot quote some one a price then in the middle of transaction change the price- this is an illegal. It can bring legal action against Sonic for taking more money out of of my account without permission.That is poor business practice. At least call consult the patron of the change and have consent of the transaction. If not you are breaking the law by stealing money from my account without permission – it’s that simple.
Also, young people need to be trained to handle their own attitude and practice self control, especially when they are wrong. Admit to your behavior and find a resolution. Do not demand something when you are in the wrong and you were. Focus on resolution not your annoyance; find a WIN-WIN. I hope this young lady gets some trying and learns self control, which is part of your job to have a good attitude especially when you are wrong and/or in a difficult situation. THANK YOU to the delivery guy, he let me complain. He needs to be the manager, he’s calm and respectful and protected his team. I WILL NOT BE BACK!
