Great front customer service, workers bussing tables were smiling, happy and amazing. I sat for over 14 minutes watching 2 other tables be waited on before a waitress finally came to my table. I asked for coffee and ice without water. It took quite awhile just to get the drinks. Coffee was good, I sent back the ice water and asked again for water without ice. Food was great and waitress brought me the check. I waited another 15 minutes trying to catch her to get a to-go box. The greeter was placing silverware on the neighboring table, and he brought me the box. I tipped him as he did more for me than my waitress. I finally just put my money in the receipt and headed to pay at the door as the waitress finally reappeared. I gave her the amount and a 10% tip. Eating alone is not a reason to be ignored just because you think a bigger table is a bigger tip.

As a cleaning business owner, I pay close attention to hygiene and presentation—and I have to say, the condition of the bathrooms at this IHOP was extremely disappointing. The floors, counters, and stalls were noticeably unclean, and it genuinely made me think twice about the standards being upheld in the rest of the restaurant.
Cleanliness is a major part of a customer’s dining experience, and something this simple should not be overlooked. IHOP, please take the time to properly clean and maintain your space. It reflects directly on the quality of your establishment.

Jason was awesome! We came in excited to have some gluten-friendly (gluten-free) food only to find out after ordering drinks that they aren’t available and won’t be anymore. We were getting ready to leave but willing to pay for the drinks that were provided when he told us he would be happy to make the omelets without the batter to make them safe for me and my family (3kids). We decided we’d stay. We appreciate that he chose to go above and beyond to make our meal possible and allow us to enjoy a sit-down restaurant!

Our food was amazing. I wish I had taken a picture of it to add to this post. The gluten friendly pancakes were fluffy and tasted good. I ordered an omelet with shelled eggs so that it would be gluten free and it was really good. It had fresh avocado on the top that was not bruised, it was ripe, it was delicious.

The pancakes are sooo good. We went to IHOP for banana pancakes for dinner. If the idea of hot bananas in pancakes doesn’t sound appealing, we are in agreement…then one day we tried them. Wow. I’m not even a big banana fan, and I love them.
Their omelets are delicious, too. Regardless of the time of day we go to an IHOP, we order their breakfast food. It is reliably delicious and fresh regardless of the location.
We had the pleasure of having Paris for our server. She is professional and friendly, gets drinks first, pre-buses the tables, and is quick to get anything extra you might need.
The one issue I have with all IHOP’s – they’ve raised the price on their sodas to almost $5 and shortened their glasses. It’s not worth it to get a soda unless you plan to send your server for multiple refills. Poor servers spend time racing around for refills when they could be doing side work.
This IHOP had filthy restrooms. The trash was overflowing, sinks had soap scum that had built up over days, and the toilets weren’t clean enough to sit on. There were little scraps of paper on the floors, in all stalls, visible accidents, and signs that a rather sick person had frequented their restrooms without cleaning up after themselves. It looked like they didn’t have anyone assigned to check on the restrooms in quite a long time. This is the first time I’ve gone in an IHOP restroom in Missoula, so I don’t know what it’s normally like.
I took pictures of a glass with diet soda in it from different angles next to a knife and their condiment basket so you can see how small their drinks are for the price. You can get a soda to go when you leave. The to go cups are a much better size, but the straws are too short for the to go cups. The straws are less than an inch taller than the to go cups.
