Had to try this place with a 4.9 star average! We came as a group of three and split an order of butter chicken, garlic naan and chicken tandoori among us. It was enough food per person to feel satisfied! The butter chicken was amazing. Taste was super unique compared to most Indian restaurants we’ve been to. Service was super fast as it was quite empty when we went on a Tuesday evening around opening time. Waiters were friendly and didn’t mind when we sat in the restaurant for 4 hours just talking. Definitely some delicious Indian food in Layton UT. We will definitely be returning to try their chicken tikka masala.

Nice place with great food and service. They do serve wine and beer, 3 choices of wine. I went with Taj Majal 22 oz beer. It was a good size to accompany my meal.
Kept it simple with dinner and ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala with an order of garlic Naan.
The service was great the whole time. By the way. They have food and beverage runners to expedite everything.
The dish came with a plate of rice that was really good. The cook the rice from steamed to something with a little oil and seasonings. Went well with the chicken. The flavor of the masala was really good. I went with ‘hot’ which wasn’t too spicy at all. But the flavors were wonderful.
The naan too was crispy, a little too buttery maybe, but really delicious. I like to scoop the rice and chicken into the bread and make a sort of food pocket with it, just wonderful.

This place is great! Randomly came here on a whim and really enjoyed it! Food was exactly like I expected, rice and Naan were fantastic and the Tikka Masala and the Coconut Kurma were fantastic! Also had the Mango Lassi which was really good as well. Place does feel weird since it’s in an old Marie Calendars but it was definitely a place I will be going again when I want some more Indian food! Wanna try so many other things!

Outstanding! We got butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, bollywood shrimp, and lamb saag, along with plain and garlic naan. All our dishes were medium spice.

Wow! Everything was amazing. The spice was perfect – it has a bite and enhanced the flavors. The flavors were amazing. Everything was perfect.

Best Indian in the state, possibly best in Utah, Colorado, and Nevada, at least the places we have been!

The food was great. We ordered the Chicken Makhani(mild) with garlic naan. It was cooked amazingly. We had an amazing time. The only thing I wish is better is the building and seating. It’s just a bit dated and my bench pad was improperly placed and I had to keep adjusting it so it didn’t fall off the frame. But the food made up for this slight inconvenience.

First time that I’ve tried Indian cuisine and it was here. I’ve heard stellar reviews and it wasn’t bad. We got the appetizer sampler which was amazing. My partner got the chicken tikka masala and I got the chickem coconut kurma – both medium spice. We both wish we had gotten hot because it wasn’t super spicy. The naan was delicious and the rice was cooked perfectly. The service was exceptional but it was a little too much at times, they checked on us constantly (which isn’t a bad thing) but it’s nice to have at least 5-10 mins between check ins and it felt like it was every 3-5 mins. The food came out super fast though. They also had such a delicious ice cream to celebrate a birthday. Over all not bad. Spent around $50-60 for two people.

Oh yeah. This is some real delicious Indian. Butter chicken and chicken tikka masala for the win.

Service is a bit slow. Interior is a bit old. It doesn’t matter – you’ll be so busy swimming in delicious curry that you won’t notice.

This place is a guilty pleasure of mine and I’m a regular customer. I usually get it delivered by Uber Eats. But this time I went into the restaurant to pick it up this time. The employee asked me if I was “Angie B” I said yes. He said, thank you for ordering from us all the time! . I had my Daughter with me and he gave her a free, fresh strawberry smoothie. Thanks Red Fort. The best Indian place in Northern Utah!
