Good traditional Alsacian dishes. It’s not a surprise that the place gets very busy and therefore the service can get a bit slow but if you have the time, highly recommend it. The lady staff at the restaurant was very at tentative and as I left the restaurant without the umbrella she came after me 🙂

Ate here twice. Lunch was so good, I came back for dinner the next night. Warm welcoming service. Not sure what the other reviewers were complaining about. Both times, I was the only tourist. Not sure about high prices either. I had just come from Switzerland, and the prices seemed fine.

The food was really good and the staff was nice, although there were some misunderstandings and the food ordered to share did not arrive ready to be shared. And the vegetarian version of a fondue was basically the same minus the charcuterie — no replacement (or at least more potatoes) was offered.
I recommend booking in advance for the patio sitting but beware of the storm of emails you’ll receive upon reserving a table. This and the 5,50 for a bottle of tap water are the biggest downsides for me.

If you‘re looking for good regional authentic food, don’t look any further. We has been there twice in a 3-days visit to Nancy. Each time we were overwhelmed by the local food, the cheese. the wine, the friendly staff and the atmosphere.

Very nice scenery and great location in the city. Unfortunately it felt extremely touristic to us, especially after trying some smaller restaurants a little outside the main area that were overall much nicer. The food was very expensive and did not live up to our expectations. The Flammkuchen was burned on the edges and the bottom was burned all over. As nice as the restaurant looks, we unfortunately cannot recommend it.

We were craving for some fondue and we found the right place! The staff were really helpful and the menu had a surprising amount of choice. We also had some really nice wine based on the waiter’s recommendation. A good place to eat. Will come back for sure!

This is the most amazing restaurant for real Lorraine & Alsace food! This has been one of the best meals I have ever had. Highly recommend the sauerkraut entree and also the King Stanislaus grated potato-cheese pancakes with chicken and fresh cheese.
