Ordered ahead for my kids and I for after trick or treating… I know it’s a holiday and it’s busy but the way I was treated and how long we had to wait was absolutely ridiculous. I ordered 3 kids meals all the same and a meal for myself, my daughter’s meal was thrown together and missing all toppings on her burger.. but they were busy so I let it go. I was told to move up so they could bring out our meals in a few minutes. 20 minutes go by and the kids meals are brought to me. I tell her we are missing mine and she goes back in. Never comes back. 10 minutes go by another lady comes out asking if I’m someone else. I tell her what I’m waiting on and she does the same thing. Third lady comes out asks what I’m waiting on. Goes inside. 10 minutes later a different lady brings out a bag and shoves it into my window and walks away. I put it aside and go home. Open it up and it’s not what I ordered. And it’s a burger unwrapped … a 4 piece nugget and a small fry… I ordered the triple cheeseburger meal … so I was treated like an animal and waited over 45 minutes just to be served crappy food..

Literally have employees ordering food on another register while the sweet older lady working the register is trying to take orders. You have workers standing around not doing anything while the much older employees here are doing the work. This is a occurrence every time we come here to eat.

I made a mobile order around 8 tonight. It took a little bit longer than I expected. (They were super busy). The manager came to me and checked to see what I ordered. She was EXTREMELY professional. She made sure I had my order and was out the door. She was so nice. Thank you!!!!

Tonight me and my husband went to McDonald’s in Athens. My husband went in to order. He noticed a young woman laying in the floor unconscious with a guy rubbing her head. My husband ordered got our drinks. He walked up to the guy and asked if anyone had called 911. NOBODY had called. She was breathing but unresponsive. I was outside in our vehicle and my husband came out and asked me to call 911. He went back inside. A firetruck and an ambulance got there and the manager wanted to know who called 911. He was clearly irritated that someone had called 911. 2 employees came from the back asking why was a firetruck and ambulance there. The manager said get back in the back and do your job! Not one person had called 911! When EMS loaded her up she was still unresponsive! How sad people are so uncaring. Whoever owns that McDonald’s needs to know what kind of manager they have!

Do not ask people for their rewards code then get mad at them when they question why their total didn’t go down. Telling the customer that there’s nothing I can do I don’t know what to tell you is rude. If you know the reward system is down maybe don’t start every order with asking them if they’ll be using your reward system then pretending like it worked.

If you’re into eating hair and enjoy eating cold food then Athens McDonald’s is the place for you! I get this world isn’t perfect and finding a hair in your food from time to time isn’t the end of the world. This McDonald’s gave us 2 milkshakes, a McFlurry, 2 double cheese burgers and a medium fry. Every item minus the fries had long black dark hair in them. I’m not exaggerating even a little bit. I’m also not one to ever leave reviews good or bad but the disgust from spending 30 dollars on some girls hair for dessert has me livid.

Management was extremely rude and condescending about the items they didn’t give me that I paid for! This slow man said he couldn’t hear me on the phone because he couldn’t call from a location that didn’t have background noise which was his idiocy. When I raised my voice for him to hear me, he accused me of “getting smart” with him! Talk about lack of situational awareness! They still wouldn’t refund me and said I had to “come show my receipt first.” I had all the information needed, I can send a text with a screenshot, etc. The female who diverted the call into a quiet room was professional and courteous however. She knows how to speak to people.

My wife is getting me and my family dinner, she has been at this location for almost an hour and a half. He said he was down 5 people and there was a baseball tournament with 900 people, I don’t think 900 of them went to McDonalds. Worst McDonalds I’ve been too and longest wait for any restaurant, fast food or sit down. They need help if people need a job.

Good wasn’t the greatest. I had a big order and my fries were cold and burgers had cold cheese on them. So food quality wasn’t great but the people were working hard and it seemed that they were well staffed. If my food had been better it would have been a full five stars across.

Clean atmosphere with quick meals to go. They seem to change out the oil frequently so your fries taste fresh and not the over saturated in old grease taste. They also have the quick order machine inside and you can use the app to order before you even arrive.
