Cazares used to be my favorite place to get my breakfast burrito. My favorite thing was the additional rajas con queso. Today I went and I’m sad to say that this time and other times I’ve gone; the food quality is not the same. When the prices of eggs jumped up, I understood the need to raise the prices on burritos. Now that the egg inflation has ceased, the prices have stayed the same but the portions have gotten smaller and food quality is less than what the standard is was. Even the rajas con queso do not taste the same. I am sad to say that this business is not what it used to be.

Tried ordering three different items. Not available. Asked if we could get salsa and fixing for barbacoa burritos and we never got them. They charge a credit card fee and when paying with a card start asking for tip at 20% and up. Burritos were not worth the price except the chile relleno. I think we will stick to Rita’s or Freshco to go. Bigger and never out of what we want. Staff not very friendly either.

Went to the newest location, between Redd rd and art craft on a Sunday before church, got 3 burritos, I wasn’t paying attention to the items being rung up, unfortunately I got charged for 4 burritos by the cashier, didn’t notice until I was headed home and called back and the cashier really didn’t care. I headed home so my mother in law could eat before a long drive to church. An apology and acknowledged mistake would have been nice, know such luck.

Burritos were really good, but the short chubby woman taking orders was very rude and arrogant, we asked her if we order at that counter and rudely answered back, its was our first time there and didn’t know if we ordered there, we asked politely but she was not nice at all. Her tone, attitude, and complete lack of courtesy made the entire interaction uncomfortable. We did eat there and everyone else was really nice to us, but just that one girl. We did tell the girl on the other counter that was charging the customers about our experience and that we want to put a complaint about the rude women and she told us that they will let them know. I wish I had gotten her name but the other employees know exactly who it is because they also noticed her badly behavior. If she continues working there with that attitude they will lose business, and the other employees don’t deserve something like that just because of her.

So this review is for the new location near Walmart on 101 Red road I’m looking at the photos and I’m seeing here now that they make their chicharron burritos with potatoes I open my burrito and like it was two pieces of chicharron and the rest potato. The only reason I came to this location is because it opens at 6:00 but I will be waiting for other Business down the street to open at 7:00.

After spending $29 on 4 burritos I asked for salsa and the girl at the register only gave me 2. I asked for more (as 1 per burrito seems reasonable) and after she already rung me up and closed out my transaction she told me they charge for salsa. She told me it was 45 cents per salsa. She should’ve told me before she closed me out. She was rude about it too! This is El Paso, burritos are sold on every corner WITH free salsa. I won’t be back!

I visited Burritos Cazares this Sunday morning and left extremely disappointed. From the moment I stepped up to the counter, the woman taking orders was openly rude and dismissive. Her tone, attitude, and complete lack of courtesy made the entire interaction uncomfortable. Instead of offering basic customer service, she acted as if helping me was an inconvenience.
What makes the situation even more frustrating is that this doesn’t seem to be an isolated issue. Just look at the recent reviews—most of the new ones are one-star ratings, and many people mention the same problem: bad service and unprofessional behavior. Even more concerning is that the owners don’t appear to respond to any of these complaints, which gives the impression that nothing is being done to improve the situation.
It’s disappointing because I went in expecting to enjoy my meal, but the way I was treated overshadowed everything else. Poor service like this completely ruins the experience, no matter how good the food might be. Unless the management takes these recurring complaints seriously, it’s hard to justify coming back.

Been going to cazares for years, visited the new doniphan location today, No line on drive true, no customers inside, they refused to sell me a quesadilla trough the drive true, went to crisostomo instead and they took my order and got my quesadilla within 2 minutes. Never seen a business that do not want to make a sale before, hope the owner reads and fix this.

I ordered some burritos a week ago, they weren’t fully cooked so I called the restaurant to let them know cuz I asked for them to extra crispy plus not a lot of juice but they weren’t crispy n full of juice on top of all that not fully cooked. I believe the register girl answered n I explained to her then she transferred me to supposedly the manager her name is “Crystal” but apparently she doesn’t know nothing about managing or customer service. So I told what’s going on she put on hold to check with the cook then came back saying that they’re cooked right and she started speaking in Spanish. I politely said ma’am I don’t speak Spanish then with that attitude right out of gate she said “SIR IM SPEAKING IN ENGLISH” I was like well u talked in Spanish then she was like yeah I spoke in both. I told her I’m not calling to argue with you then in a very rude way she said I’ll right ur phone number down n have my boss call you. Sure enough no body called or did anything. Simply if u wanna hire a manager u should make sure that she has a good communication skills otherwise they don’t deserve that position and should be given to someone who knows how to treat customers.
