I should be doing a million other things, but I had to make writing this review a priority to let the Red Lobster franchise owner and others know about our horrible experience. I had ordered a family meal and an additional appetizer (for pick-up). I placed our order in the Red Lobster app for pickup later in the evening as we wanted to have a special dinner with our family. Our scheduled time was 6:30 pm. My husband goes into the Red Lobster, the hostess was sitting in the lobby, laughing and playing on her phone. My husband arrived to the bar area at 6:26, a few minutes prior to the scheduled time. He didn’t receive our food until 6:45. There was literally nobody at the bar area except one person: Max. Max finally greeted my husband, after 11 minutes, and got his food. He handed it over to him in the big paper brown bags that RL uses for to-go orders. My husband looked in the bag because the outside was wet and soaked. Max had given him a bag with a container of shrimp scampi that wasn’t closed and leaked liquid in the bag. My husband closed the container- and then took everything out and cleaned off the spilled buttery liquid from various containers in the bag. Max gave him a new bag for him to put the containers in. No apologies. No effort to help. No care. My husband gets the food- brings it to our new car. The car we did not want to smell like buttery seafood. The car we didn’t want to be stained with buttery seafood liquid from carelessness. My husband immediately said, As my husband explained why I had to wait over 15 minutes for an order was proactively placed for a scheduled pick up time, I decided to call Red Lobster myself because surely the manager should know of the lack of quality control and service. No expectations- just wanting to share as a growth opportunity. Well, the girl that answered the phone was laughing as she answered, and I told her I’d like to speak with a manager. I had my phone on speakerphone so my husband could hear. The girl thensaid, the general manager? I said yes, sure. After a few minutes, the manager says hello. I asked his name, and he said, “Max”. M-A-X”. That was a little awkward to me. (Meanwhile, my husband’s jaw dropped and mouthed-” that is him…that’s who literally gave me a soaked bag”. Max, is the general manager! During the conversation, Max was rude and lacked empathy. He didn’t apologize AT ALL. He said, “Well, I gave him a new bag”. I told him the food wasn’t even ready at the scheduled time- he said it had been sitting on the lamp for 11 minutes.. I asked then why didn’t you greet and give it to my husband? There was no other customers there! Max just didn’t care. He was checked out. Moving on- when we got home, the family size scampi had little to no butter (as it was obviously all spilled out). The cocktail sauce was all spilled over the outside container. There was no butter, no sour cream for our family baked potatoes. The food was cold. This was a total waste of over $100 something dollars we spent. Waste of money. Waste of time. Waste, waste, waste. Red Lobster- I truly hope you get this message. I understand that maybe Max had a bad day. Maybe he was at the bar because someone called out. Who knows. We understand things happen. We are pretty reasonable folks. But the way we were treated is truly despicable. I don’t expect much from Red Lobster. I think we can all say the consumers are aware of the struggles Red Lobster has with quality and service. Well, I believed the new CEO had been doing a wonderful job in fixing those problems. But here we are, Fredericksburg, Virginia….still not caring. Not caring about the franchise, the company. They just don’t care. Well, at this point, I don’t either. I won’t be returning. I will spend our hard-earned money somewhere else. Oh, let me also mention this- I did not include a tip on my pre-paid purchase. We tip cash after checking our order and based on the service. Well, no tip lost here. Thanks for that?

A great experience at the Fredericksburg Spotsylvania Mall location. The grilled lobster, shrimp and salmon meal was flavored and cooked to perfection. The service was provided by Dionte (I might be misspelling that), all stars, he had recommendations for my diet restrictions. Today’s experience was the best I’ve had at any Red Lobster. The atmosphere was on point, clean and friendly staff. I’ll definitely be back and recommend this location.

The lobster and shrimp linguine Alfredo is delicious as are the cheddar bay biscuits. Just be prepared for a long wait if you’re getting carry out. I arrived 15 minutes after the email said to be there and I still had to wait another 20 minutes.

Food was great as usual. The customer service was excellent. Our server, Jessica was very friendly and attentive. The manager also went out of his way to make sure everything was to our liking. We will definitely be back!

This was the worst restaurant experience my family and I have had.

We arrived around 4:00 PM, and the restaurant was nearly empty, so being “busy” was not an excuse. Despite that, we waited almost two hours for our food while people that were seated an hour after us had already gotten theirs. When it finally came out, all of it was cold, the lobster tail and steak were so tough we couldn’t even eat it. Our waiter did not check on us for over 30 minutes at a time, and our drinks were empty multiple times throughout the meal.

The manager was extremely unprofessional when we raised our concerns. When I told her we waited over an hour and a half for our food she replied “I saw” and held up a receipt she was holding. She also said that our steak was tough and inedible “because it was a sirloin,” which is not an acceptable excuse. I’ve had plenty sirloins that were edible and not so tough I could barely cut my knife through it. The manager also blamed a large party for our 2 hour wait. When we arrived there was no large party there so not sure what she was talking about. The manager gave sorry excuses rather than solutions. That alone says a lot about how this place is being run. After reading other recent reviews, I can see this is clearly an ongoing issue.

We will not be back. This restaurant needs completely new management because they clearly do not know what they’re doing.

I waited to decided if it was worth it to leave a review about this location. We visited on Valentine’s Day and the experience was awful, if this was my first time visiting any red lobster I would never return. we waited almost an hour for service while some said they were waiting well over 2 hours and the delivery drivers waited longer than that. I heard one hostess say “well they have they have the option to unassign” and the staff at red lobster has the duty to represent the company better than the less show that was in display Valentine’s Day. No food, no drinks and then when we ask for the manager they said the manager was in the back cooking!!! We left without food and no dinner on Valentine’s evening. The location should be closed with dated furniture the smell and lack of attention from employees!

On Valentine’s Day we waited over 2 hours for our food that never materialized, we wasted the evening and left without our food. We were constantly told by the waitress that it was on the way out and it only had to be bagged up which was a lie. The lobby area was full of customers waiting on food. The dining area was full of customers, some of who left while we were still waiting. We couldn’t get a manager to come and speak with us which is very disappointing especially because Red Lobster is supposed to be under new management. The Door dash drivers were also waiting longer than we were and they don’t get paid unless they deliver orders, they shouldn’t have to unassign from an order especially when they have been promised it was on the way out and have waited over an hour for an order which is also unacceptable. Out entire wait we saw 1 order to come out of the kitchen. We will never return to this Red Lobster and will advise everyone we know to stay far away. The lack of urgency for customers who came to enjoy an evening regardless of it was a special occasion or not and being unattended to and left without food or an explanation is unacceptable. The entire management staff should be fired or at least retrained.

I’ve been to this Red lobster many times and when I was a kid I absolutely loved it, during this past visit I’ll be honest and I wasn’t a huge fan of the food. What made it a good experience was our server who made our time they are absolutely amazing he joked around with us and was very kind and was quick to bring out our food and serve us. I could recommend this place though since me not enjoying it wasn’t on the staff at the restaurant and if you enjoy red lobster you will enjoy this one!

Hostesses was at door when we came in and greeted us right away with a smile.
Our server is as Austin he was amazing.
Food was nice hot and flavorful.
I would recommend the lobster flatbread and scallops.
Manager Alley was very attentive and greeted several guest.

We were greeted by the manager, who was friendly and welcoming! Kelsie was a great server! Friendly, professional, and courteous. I will definitely look for her the next time i visit. However, the other servers were friendly and
