I’ve never experienced such horrible service in all the years I’ve been going to a Waffle House. So when we entered the establishment it was very dirty. The same unprofessional waitress that waited on us was mopping and never gave us the courtesy to pass. She came to our table with such a negative attitude and unfriendly personality. We ordered and she only served my husband his coffee and I had to ask again for mine. He’s Latino I’m black go figure!! The food was not cooked correctly so when I asked to have the cheese put on my hash browns it wasn’t melted so I asked to have it melted and she said well it was melted on the grill so she snatched the food at which time the general manager (Susan) brought my order back to me I expressed to her how unprofessional the server was and she said I will speak with her. Never once making her do her job instead she never checked to see if we needed anything else mid meal the cook was instructed the come to check on us. That is unacceptable because she should have had her to do her job. In a customer service field you are to lead by example and correct things head on. Instead that didn’t happen. So needless to say I will not visit this establishment again!!! And I believe in tipping generously but SHE DIDN’T GET A DIME FROM ME!!! The best waitress there is Cecily. Ask for her and you’ll get great service!!!

This is one of the best Waffle Houses in Slidell. The service is great, food is very good, atmosphere is laid back. Maby it’s because of the nearby hotel, i don’t know. The ladies are great, they provide excellent service and courtesy.

An American institution. The cooks make the restaurant period. Waffle House on Spanish Trail has them. The food is good, the service is great. Don’t just take my word, observe the crowds during the mornings and weekends. It’s not decoration.

They got busy and you just seem like everybody fell apart waitresses didn’t call in the right Foods cooked it sent out the right Foods. one waitressing was in her own little world had to re cook my breakfast she got really upset I took another 15 minutes for me to get my breakfast back I found a little ridiculous maybe need a little training a little bit more how to call food in but I do enjoy eating at the Waffle House really get Pleasant conversation I’m different people from around the world thumbs up.

Food was ok. Service was marginal. Order entered incorrectly. Another part of our order didn’t come out. By the time we finished our food, the missing part still had not been brought out. Missing part was taken off our bill, so that was appreciated and appropriate.

Worst Waffle House visit ever. Wanted to have a good breakfast and a comfortable setting. Got chaos, lack of organization, lack of service, and food safety violations. The waffle was thinner than I ever knew possible. They actually stacked layers of plates with the meat touching the bottom of the plate about and getting cold.
