I’m writing this review because this establishment has long been one of my favorite and most frequently visited places, but unfortunately, it seems to have lost its spark when it comes to customer service.
Last Saturday, my parents stopped in for lunch and experienced service so poor that they chose to walk out before even placing an order. That alone speaks volumes. I was extremely disappointed to hear about their experience, especially considering how often I support this business.
I called that same day and spoke with a young lady named Alexia. I requested a callback from the general manager, John. It has now been seven days since the incident, and I have yet to receive a call. I’m not sure whether the message was relayed, but the lack of follow-up only adds to the frustration.
I spend a significant amount of money here, including purchasing gift cards for friends and family. However, until this matter is addressed, I will not be dining here, buying gift cards, or recommending this establishment to others. It’s truly unfortunate that no one reached out to me prior to leaving this review, I’ve exhausted every possibility through outreach prior to leaving this review.
I would appreciate a prompt callback from someone in leadership to resolve this matter. My information was provided last week on Saturday, 2/21/26!
Our entire dinner experience was amazing. Customer service and the first impression is so important, especially when there are so many other restaurants competing for your business. Dale, you and your team did a great job!
Thank you!!
Went around 12:30 was told a 30 minute wait due to a shortage of staff. We decided to wait….big mistake. Got seated 45 minutes later. Took 10 minutes to get a waitress to come to the table then another 15 minutes for drinks. Note we never got asked if we wanted refills
The salads took another 20 minutes and the main course didn’t arrive until 2:20.
The steaks were overcooked and the baked potatoes were loaded when we requested them plain.
We didn’t bother saying anything because we just wanted the bill to pay and leave
And there were only a few tables in the restaurant with patrons besides us
We will never be going to this Longhorn again
Texas roadhouse is superior in every way
After reading some of the other people’s reviews. I feel like there is some training issues in all areas. I, myself on a restaurant, seen this is an issue in alot of restaurant chains. The care of making food should be a gourmet. It shouldn’t be like a fast food joint. Need to weigh the steaks if you’re cutting them. There was no way a 12 Oz ribeye is a 1/4 in thick. I had thought about going back there to straighten them out. Turn my Gordon Ramsey attitude out on them.

EVERYTHING WAS HORRIBLE! I was wondering why all of the food couldn’t fit in the bag as it did on Feb 25th. It’s because they packed it wrong. I was excited to see in the first experience the portion size was great and the the meats was in the same plate, and the sides were in different containers. No condiments were touching my food because they had a space on the outside of the container for the condiment container to go. Expected that on March 1st, but was highly disappointed!
But Sunday March 1, 2026, they packed it horrible, it was confusing to sort who’s order was what. it was also very obvious that the portion sizes were much smaller than when we ordered the same things a few days before.
I do NOT like my condiments or butter containers put in my tray touching my food. That’s disgusting! One was sitting on top of my cheese that was on my chicken. The other condiment containers were in the plate touching food. Nasty!
The food was not hot, like it had been sitting for a while. The cheese on the chicken was cold and looked like plastic. Supposed to been 2 Parmesan cheese with crusted and 1 w/o crust, but it was the opposite. The chicken was dry and cold, like it had been sitting for a while. Did not taste like Feb 25th. No extra sauce on ribs as requested. I asked for BBQ sauce on my ribs with extra sauce on the side. Ribs were burned to the point you can taste the burn over the rib flavor. 1 baked potato was partially bad. The taste of the food was not at all good on March 1st, like it was on Feb 25th.
Glad this wasn’t my first experience because I’m HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED with the meal on March 1, 2026! But not sure if I will ever come back, because that was almost $90 for a horrible meal. My order check number on March 1, 2026 was 805812, transaction number 1146800519. Longhorn management needs to make this right. I feel like I was robbed, ripped off, cheated, because I was.
Ordered almost the same order as Feb 25th, other than the change of 2 sides, but got 2 totally, completely different experiences with the same restaurant. Also, I tried to order around 3pm but it wasn’t on the online order menu at that time. Really frustrating! I like to order before dinner rush.
Also what I’m about to say next is weird and disturbing. The person that brought me my food, asked me to sign the paper and I paid with PayPal, not a credit card. PayPal is prepaid. They didn’t do that last time. I was very disturbed and uncomfortable with that situation. She said it was to be sure nothing happens with the credit card, but again I did not use a credit card and it clearly said on the receipt PayPal. And she did not do that for the car beside me that she handed a bag to. Maybe she was thinking I would add a tip, but I never add a tip until I know that my order is correct and tastes great. Had it been the same experience as Feb 25th, I would have made sure I went back later to tip. But it was horrible!
I should be asking for my money back. After filling out the survey and requesting I be contacted, but nobody has contacted me yet, so that’s why I decided to do a Google review.
