We went on a Wednesday afternoon. We dined inside due to the cold weather. There is a small bar with some seating and 6 tables upstairs. I ordered a Long Island Iced Tea and it was the best I’ve had in a while. We ordered green bean fries, a burger, soup, shrimp, it was all fine and arrived relatively fast. Our server was friendly and attentive. During warmer weather months seating numbers and atmosphere are significantly different.

We came here an hour before closing on a middle of the week winter night and we all had different dishes. Wings, lobster roll, steak fries, etc. The place was warm. Great vibe and atmosphere. Our server Payton was also attentive with good service. We’ll be back during next year’s convention.

We were waiting for a table but ended up sitting and dining at the inside bar. I want to start out by saying that the bar staff is WONDERFUL. So attentive and fun to chat with. Down to earth. The food was great and the drinks were better. Had a fun time with the “sundown shot” and enjoyed it enough to ask them to make it into a drink. So unfortunately I don’t know what to ask for next time, but I really enjoyed it! My first drink was a raspberry mojito and that was FANTASTIC. Cheers to Back Bay Ale House for a fun filled dining experience at their indoor bar

Server Payton knocked it out of the house. Great food, the lobster/shrimp roll was awesome, and the fries were top tier. Feels like a classic Atlantic City stop, will be back whenever I’m in town.

The food and vibes were excellent here! We came here for dinner as a group of 9, and though they technically are able to accommodate large groups, we weren’t seated until at least 40 minutes after requesting a table (they initially estimated 20 minutes). Additionally, food came out very slow and scattered. But the dishes were excellent and we didn’t have any trouble once the food arrived!
The atmosphere was also fantastic as we were out by the water and were able to watch the sun set as we dined. The photos in this post are not all the dishes, but I feel personally that the Seafood Sampler Platter could have had a little more on the plate. For the price that it was, I was expecting a little more. But it tasted great regardless. And the cucumber salad on the side was delicious!
Would love to come back here another time, but with a much smaller group!

I love this place. I’ve been here a couple of times and sat at the bar. The last time I was here I just had gotten off of the Atlantic City Cruise Line Dolphin tour. I found a seat at the bar. The bartenders are very nice and give great service. I ordered a burger and it came out exactly how I asked it to be prepared. Something about being near the water just makes me feel so much more relaxed and this cute spot is right next to the water, you can see the boats coming in and out as you enjoy your food and beverage.

This establishment is amazing. Our waitress Anna was the Gold standard. She was attentive, friendly, gave great advice, and treated us with so much kindness and respect. The restaurant is located beside the inlet. The views are beautiful. We ate outside and enjoyed the sounds of soothing tropical music and distant seagulls. We were seated right away and Anna came right over. We had a real steak sandwich and shrimp po’boy. We shared a large salad and had drinks. It was like we were transported to the Caribbean. My only concern was the ladies restroom. Unfortunately, the nor’easter did damage with flooding to many businesses. They were using a converted trailer or rail car for the bathroom. The steps were high and the bathroom was tiny. We will definitely be returning. We had spectacular food, views, and service. Thank you for making our long overdue Honeymoon even better.

Lunch was great! Can’t beat the service and the view. We had the tuna nachos, crab cakes sandwich (not pictured) and fries with cheese. All so good! Will definitely be coming back to try the different mason jars

We sat on the deck that overlooked the bay. Our waitress was great. The tuna nachos were amazing. The seafood Cobb salad was delicious. Both were big portions. Our drinks were delicious also.
