Had the best dinner service and a delicious meal. Ordered 3 rolls and this huge stack came! Volcano spider roll, was amazing. Rainbow and dragon rolls were delicious as well. Had all three desserts because we were just having the best time. Sake bombs for the win! Thank you for a fun filled evening!

I came here for Valentine’s Day and I’m really glad I did.I was greeted when walking inside and amazed with the decor. It was really fancy and the bar area was adorable. I’ve been to many sushi restaurants in Monterey,San Jose, Watsonville, and Santa Cruz… by far this was my favorite the fish was fresh and melted in mouth with every bite! I will definitely be back

We came around 4:30 which is early for dinner service, it was nice and not crowded at all. The staff and possibly the owner were very engaging and made sure we had everything we needed. I had asked about the possibility of some changes to an existing roll and they fulfilled my request and the roll was delicious. The menu is the perfect size to make a decision without getting lost in too many roll choices which happens at other places. Food came out timely and was fresh. Gyoza was extra crispy. Sale was good as well. We will come back!

Absolutely LOVED the sushi! I haven’t had sushi this good in years!! I had the Superman roll and it was delicious. Everything tasted fresh and I am very impressed with how tasty and realistic they made their imitation soft shell crab! Will absolutely come again next time I visit the area.

Best beef teriyaki in town… not thin chewy strips here, nice chunks with amazing flavor even without sauce! Love the sushi… and the thick cuts of sashimi are amazing quality! Best part is it is owned by the sweetest family!!!

Sushi is by far my favorite meal and Nura does it justice. I sat at the bar and had a great experience with the staff as well as the head chef. I ordered maguro and unagi Nigri as well as a seared maguro roll all for myself. Both Nigri pieces were fresh and very well portioned. The seared roll itself was a first for me, however the added heat definitely enhanced a traditionally raw dish and I quite enjoyed it. If you are thinking about going, just go and experience the restaurant, you won’t regret it.

I was in Pacific Grove for 5 nights; came across Nura on the 4th night… went back on the 5th!
So good. Fresh. Fantastic. Friendly attentive and smiling staff made this lone Canadian feel warmly at home.
Chef Aiden not only has deep knowledge and experience but he is also the consummate host, and I was lucky to enjoy some pleasant conversation with him at the end of the evening.
