This used to be our favorite chinese take-out in Charlottesville. We recently ordered our usual dishes and learned that the restaurant is under new ownership. Our Kung Pao Chicken was flavorless and not the least bit spicy, a disappointing meal for the price. Sesame Chicken was fine. Another family had a similar lack luster experience. I sure hope they figure things out in the kitchen.

The sweetest lady took our order and asked what time we would be there to pick up the food so it was made fresh and ready for us. We got the beef and broccoli, pork udon noodles, chicken and string bean in garlic sauce and pork lo mein. The udon noodles and the garlic chicken were my favorite! So yummy and huge portions! The best Chinese take out we’ve had yet in Charlottesville. Thank you 🙂

Have never made a review before but this place deserves the praise for being the best takeout I have ever had. Not only is the food amazing but consistent as-well. And the service is second to none, the lady who takes our call and checks you out is a pure soul, the service and food made me become a regular. After a little bit of time she began to recognize me and chat just as a friend would. She truly is the nicest person in service I’ve known! Definitely recommend going if you’re ever in the middle for Chinese takeout.

This place is the BEST Chinese restaurant in the entire 434. About 15 years ago my father had passed away and they gave my mom and I free food. My best friend and I come here 15 years later and they remembered me! This place has the best workers who truly remember, value and respect their customers. This rating is in the “hole in the wall Chinese” category to be clear. Honestly better rice than I expected with decent amount of veggies and things. Chicken broccoli was good, better than average sweet and sour chicken. My expectations were low but the food was better. To be clear there is no atmosphere, it’s a counter with covid guards still up and supplies stacked in the main room; no tables or chairs. I’d also so more expensive than average, 2 entrees and fried rice for $46 ♂️
