What a cute little coffee shop! I love the atmosphere and all that goes along with it! There are animated photos on the walls and an amazing book mural. The service was friendly and quick and when our drinks were ready they even walked them to our table. If I am in the area in the future, I will definitely swing in here.

This is the most fabulously textured pastry I have ever had. The iced matcha latte with coconut milk and Irish cream flavor was clearly made with a high quality matcha, a much more satisfying drink than the sugary matcha drinks served by big brands. And great cozy atmosphere.

This place is a hit! I came one day to study and enjoyed the focaccia so much that I had to come back.

Once I told my wife and showed her these pictures she made us come back.

If you are looking for a cozy, quiet place to study and enjoy great coffee paired with delicious baked goods- this is the place to go!

First time here and I love the decor. Prices are reasonable and the iced latte is very good. Looks like a pleasant place to hang out. Seating for 23 or so people but few outlets so make sure your batteries are charged.

We want more weekend morning coffee shops to chill at, get some work done, play a board game, and eat and drink delicious coffee and pastries and such. Starbies has obviously passed out of the mainstream, so we wanted to check out some local spots. Flakes & Fables is one of those spots we checked out.

Ambiance is clean, proud, and a little whimsical. Very interesting artwork adorns the wall, including some absolutely stunning book art that every child should look at and admire. And there’s a couple of nice glass cabinets showing off the pastries that are fresh and ready for sale. Very nice look to the place.

Service was insanely nice. We had a very nice little conversation with the guy at the counter, the food and drink gets delivered right to the table, and he even checked in on us once or twice to ask how our meal was, talking a little bit about different recipes that the baker is trying out. It was really nice service.

As for the food and bev, all so solid. Drinks were good. Not too sweet, not too bitter. No concerns there. We had a little blueberry bundt thing with vanilla icing drizzled all over it. It was very soft and delicate. The blueberry aspect tasted nice and natural, not too sweet. Very good.

We also had a nice chocolate/pistachio filled croissant with that same combination on top. This was a very delicate croissant. You can tell that it was baked in house; there were flakes everywhere, on the table, on my lap, it was done very well. With just the right amount of chocolate within, and some very nice chunks of pistachios on top for texture. Just lovely.

The last thing I sampled, my main event, was a breakfast sandwich in a nice slice of focaccia. Wow, the height on this thing was impressive. But it was very squishable and edible, because that bread was so airy and buttery. A great combination of butter and salt was in the bread, and the ingredient amount of perfect, too. Loved those nice, strong slices of tomatoes.

I could talk about the fun board games they have available to play, but I doubt anyone is even reading this anymore. I was very happy with my visit here. I review places and I don’t think about price at all when I do, but if I could make one remark about this place, I don’t think their prices were high enough.

I think that for comparable food and drink and comparable places, this is the cheapest you’ll find it. Which is good for us, but as a small business, you gotta survive. Once you get truly cemented into the community, raise those prices a bit. This is quality stuff.

I’ve been a few times and honestly I really like this cafe. All their pastries are really yummy and I like the fairy tale aesthetic. I’d give it five stars if it weren’t for one glaring thing. They have these really creepy AI cartoon characters on the screens in the dining room and they really ruin the vibe of everything. I was hoping eventually they’d replace them but it’s been months and they’re still up. Makes me wonder what they think about the value of artist’s work

I’ve gotten coffee and treats from here many times and they’re always great. The drinks are consistently well made, the pastries are fresh, and you can tell they actually care about quality. Staff is friendly and everything I’ve tried so far has been on point. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you want something that tastes good and feels made with care.

I booked 7 people for a “Galentine’s Day” party and it was perfect. The food and coffee were delicious, but best of all, the staff was AMAZING! They were all personable, kind and efficient, which is missing at a lot of places these days.
The breakfast sandwich was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. I ordered it with focaccia bread, egg, tomato & avocado spread. Yum!! I will definitely be returning.

I had my book launch event here and it was such an absolutely amazing experience. Geo and Javi were super accommodating, extremely supportive, and open to all of my strange requests.
I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with them. My family and I come to the cafe at least once a week because we love supporting local businesses that support other locals. Their coffee is amazing, their pastries are to die for, and their hearts are kind beyond belief. 10/10.

This is one of my favorite hometown small businesses to support! Excellent personal service with delicious fresh pastry, the plain croissant is my favorite. Today we were on the run, so breakfast was an egg, croissant breakfast sandwich with avocado spread, and it was delicious! And of course, a great cup of coffee!
