Food was great and definitely portioned well for the price…employees were friendly and upbeat…owner was working hard in the kitchen on several occasions.

Was here with my grandmother and her friend. I did not eat, but their food was overcooked and hard for my grandmothers 90 year old friend to eat. They picked around on their food because it wasn’t COMPLETELY inedible and did mention something to the waitress. They weren’t expecting a free meal, but wanted someone to know. The woman who I am assuming is the owner came out with a nasty attitude, and kept telling my grandmother “well you ate the food, so.” The sweet tea also was very watered down. When that was mentioned, the owner said “the sweet tea was just made today- it’s fine.” She argued with everything that was said. I live in WF and hadn’t made it to this restaurant yet, but due to her attitude alone and how she clearly treats her customers when there is any kind of criticism, I won’t be returning. It confirms everything I had heard about this business prior.

I found it expensive. I ended up paying 37.50 for our meals. They charge 3.00 for a drink it wasn’t worth it I had a chef salad which it was massive and I wasn’t impressed with the pie.

I have eaten here several times and when they 1st opened this restaurant was pretty decent! As time passed, thiis place seemed to throw all cares, straight down the drain. It’s disheartening to have the cook/owner not carr mm

Food tasted old, not homemade, and canned. Chicken and dumplings were flat. Broth weak. The mashed potatoes were good, however the gravy was grainy and tasted old. The baked beans were tangy (in a bad way) and I found a strange tendon-type chunk in my beans. The sweet tea was not homemade and tasted off. Limited menu & breakfast available only til 10 a.m.
The server was good. The atmosphere was great, as we enjoyed all the Elvis and other early Rock paraphernalia. The seats were too close to other tables, the seats themselves were very uncomfortable.
We didn’t try dessert, there were flies in the pie display.
Normally we love to back local establishments, perhaps we visited on an off day.. But I think that if I buy a can of soup, and it’s better than a restaurant, something is awry.

I came at a slow time. But my biscuit and gravy with 2 eggs were great and hot. The tea was good, and I had half&half . The server was nice
Very clean, friendly atmosphere.
It’s worth a stop, people. The price was good too.

Had a great meal today. Food was excellent. Service was great. Two of ate for just under 20 bucks. We had burgers and shared an order of fries. Shop local!

I’m from out of town and was just stopping to have breakfast with the family. The server was quick and friendly. The food was very tasty and the prices were right on point. Although I was there for breakfast I did take time to eat a piece of peanutbutter pie. I must say I like pie and this pie was real good! So if you local or just passing through make sure to stop and enjoy the food (especially the pie). It’s worth the moment you use to enjoy the food.

I took my grandfather here for his birthday lunch. The food was delicious and definitely filling, I had to get a to-go box. The food was still enjoyable after being reheated.
