Pleasant experience. On a road trip stopped for lunch. Waiter (Spencer) was attentive but not intrusive. Got our order right the first time. Clean restaurant. Promptly greeted upon entering. Clean and well stocked restroom. It was cold outside but room temperature was pleasant. Music was pleasant but not overpowering (too loud). Hot food was hot and cold food was cold. I would stop by again.

Let me tell you about steak ‘n Shake, I decided to go in and eat, and it was extremely busy. We got seated by a hostess. Waited.. seen a party of 11 come in, still waited seen a few other people come in so our hostess decided to go to the table of 11 before serving us. Then served on the other 2 party’s before us. I got up and said something to her and she couldn’t even look at me. Luckily, Monica is very awesome and cool and says they don’t operate like that and she apologize, very professional. And was not frustrated at all about being so busy We got our food to us ASAP and kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. The food is delicious every time triple cheeseburger oowee gooey cheesy easy.. the chili is fantastic. First time I had it.. there’s lots of things for the kids to do like coloring or building a race car to wearing a steak ‘n Shake hat, very kid friendly. also kids under 12 eat free. Nice!

Haven’t been to a steak ‘n shake in years, I thought it sounded good so the kids and I stopped and the burgers & milkshake were delicious. The bathroom was spotless and the dining area was very clean. Talk to several of the staff and they were also very pleasant.

This is by far the best Strak N Shake I’ve been to in a long time. Most of them are set up with kiosks you have to order at. Then you have to scan a barcode to get your own drink. They don’t even bring the food to your table. This one…? This is a real Steak N Shake. This one seats you, takes your order, brings you your food, keeps your drink full, and cleans your table. This is how it should be. I’d give 5 stars but I wasn’t blown away by the cleanliness or atmosphere of the place. It wasn’t bad at all. Just nothing special.

This place has burgers and shakes all at the same place. I know they used to offer free fries with any purchase. Right now they have that orange dreamsickle shake which is amazing, the taste isn’t over bearing like you would think. Good customer service and friendly staff.

This location has the classic steak n’ shake feel. No kiosk, actual servers. There’s steak n’ shake seasoning with the condiments on the table, no tiny individual packets or having to buy a whole bottle. Food tasted good and came out in a timely manner. Bathroom was clean.

A highway billboard – “You had me at tallow” – got me to stop, curious to see if beef-tallow-fried fries matched the 70’s glory of McD fries as I remembered (A: no). The service was outstanding, even if it was pretty empty when I was there. It’s fast food – more Sonic, or In-N-Out, than Mel’s – but with table service. It all came very fast indeed. A decent burger, fries and shake, for fast food.
