On our way through, we stopped for a beer and a snack. We split the Halibit burger, fries, and mushrooms. All were good. This is bar food and was great as far as bar food goes. The drinks were good. This place had the feel of a neighborhood bar. Pool tables, darts, and gambling machines. Kids are welcome with a few restrictions. The prices were a great value. We would stop again if ever we were passing through.

Pretty much exactly what you want in a rural MT bar with food. They have good burgers too, real ground beef that they smash in a griddle on the bar (not sysco patties). A perfect stop after fishing/hunting/boating in this part of the state. It’s like what you’d think but better.

I didn’t care for the service. I waited to put in an order for beverages and cash a casino ticket. I waited for a good 10 minutes and then another woman came up to place an order and stood beside me. The person waiting on us took my order, then her order and she got her order first. I had to wait another 5 minutes while the person waiting on me visited with another wait person. I believe I waited for 20 minutes. Apparently I look like a patient person and people take advantage of that.

Don’t let the exterior of this place fool you, it’s quite classy on the inside but still maintains that “dive bar” situation that you’re looking for from a roadside establishment. Nice drink selection, nice staff, nice environment. I really enjoyed I really enjoy this place.

An hour after ordering food and fter other tables who ordered after us had finished eating we asked where our food was we were told by manager/owner(?) ” it’s a bar – food is a side business. If you don’t like it then you can f’ing leave” won’t be back and will be telling lots of people….

Great Atmosphere & Fabulous Bartenders. I was disappointed that there was no live music or karaoke on a Saturday, especially when the other bars had no entertainment. At least bring in a solo musician, dj, or something.
