I am a first responder & ordered through drive thru. Get to my destination & food side item corn is missing. I can’t reach anyone by phone & looking at the reviews my refund is not looking good. I won’t be able to go back until tomorrow because I’m off at 1am & they will be closed. Why is it so difficult to speak with someone over the phone?

visited Pollo Tropical (3051 W Commercial Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309) on Wednesday, February 4 around 10:00 PM and had an extremely weird drive-thru experience. I placed my order, pulled up to the window, and the employee just stared at me in silence no greeting, no communication, nothing. I was waiting for my card back while she stood there expressionless, then she walked away. Another employee came to the window to hand me my food and also didn’t say a word just stared. On top of that, I received no napkins, no utensils, and none of the sauces I requested. Overall, the service was uncomfortable and poor, and I didn’t receive the items I asked for. Please hire/train staff who can communicate and provide basic customer service.

It’s impossible for it to be this bad. I ordered a meal, and they only gave me two pieces of meat. I asked for a large size, and they gave me a small one. On top of that, the staff were rude and spoke to me disrespectfully. I’ve never seen such a ridiculous, awful place in my life. I paid $20 for two pieces of meat?

This place is an absolute disaster! I paid good money for my order, and they completely botched it half my food never even showed up! What did arrive was a pathetic excuse for a meal: a so-called “half chicken” that was basically just bones and gristle, with no meat to speak of. Total rip-off! To top it all off, I found a disgusting hair in my food, which made my stomach churn. The service is a joke, the quality is abysmal, and I wouldn’t wish this experience on my worst enemy. Save your money and avoid this dump at all costs!

(Drivethrough) This was the worst ceasar salad i ever had in my life. And i eat them weekly… it was full of water. The croutons had crumbled into mush, so had to dig around that to be able to eat it. I almost vomited. I got the dressings on the side. One was watery, and the other the right consistency. Sooo had to mix that too. Anddd the first one was so small i had to order 2 of them. Never again!!

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at a pollo !!! All I can say is desperate time calls for desperate measures. I am not from this area and my daughter was hungry.

Manager gas lights customers
Employees are dumbfounded when you explain that the food should NOT be ICE cold in a damn drive through!
A chicken sandwich DOES NOT come cold when being given to a paying customer and I don’t care what anyone has to say about it. Room temperature, I’ll give a pass but ice cold is freaking crazy.
And then this manager spends the entire time arguing with other customers about their order. This cannot be real life.
I pay money for my food and still get told that I have to take it COLD. No, that is unacceptable. This is not food I’m being given at a food bank, I PAY FOR IT!
I cannot believe that after all of these reviews, this manager is still there. I don’t wish for anyone to not have a job but if you are in a business where customer service is the focal point, then do it effectively and efficiently!
I cannot deal with the lack of good customer service when they are the ones who choose to work here!
I will never return. I most definitely DO NOT recommend anyone in their right mind to eat here!
