I have been eating here since it opened; both the buffet and takeout. They have had their ups and downs, but this last order was a real disappointment, and I think this will be the last visit for me. I asked for the boneless honey ribs with the sauce on the side, because we have diabetics in the house, and still there was sweet sauce on the bottom of the container under the meat. The sweet and sour pork was ok. The egg rolls were very greasy on one end. But the worst of all was the Pork Fried Rice and white rice. The Pork fried rice literally had about 1 Tbs. of meat. The rice itself was awful; it seems as if they have managed to find the worst rice ever made, and used it for both dishes.It’s hard to ruin plain white rice, but they did; this was hard, dry, flavorless and had an odd taste. It certainly was not Jasmine or Basmati, or any rice that should have been used for human consumption. Also, no egg, and again, about 1 Tbs. or less of onion or any other vegetable combined in the fried rice. I called my order in about an hour after the buffed closed and I wonder if they gave me the leftover rice that had been on the buffet. A Chinese restaurant that can’t make fluffy white rice or a good basic fried rice is an abysmal fail. This rice tasted like cardboard. They have lost a long time customer. Won’t be back and don’t recommend.

Listen if you like Chinese food this is the spot. They also have a buffet setup all days there open till 3:30 ish!!! Very yummy and very kind!! They due lunch and dinner with top quality meat and veggies. There pride and quality of there food they turn out to the community is top notch!!!! If your in the town of orange va. Stop in and eat there located in the foodlion shopping center. Get there and get a great meal

I know the name great wall, as far as Chinese restaurants go is more of a symbol I guess lol. But it’s comforting to see one way out here in VA, when I grew up in Brooklyn and also had a great wall Chinese restaurant that we went to for several years. (rest in peace George)
Anyways, the food was amazing. And the service was excellent. I ordered a general TSOs chicken with chicken fried rice and orange soda.

Its a decent, small town Chinese place that has friendly staff, and large to-go portions that will easily make 2 meals. On the grand scheme of things, it’s probably not the best Chinese food I have ever had, but they are way better than the competitor in town, and it is good enough to keep me from having to drive elsewhere.

I’ve been coming to this place off and on over the past few years. I always get the lunch buffet. I’m under no illusion that this is “authentic” Chinese. But if you want plenty of tasty food for a reasonable price suited to the American palate and concept of Chinese food, then this is the place to go. The staff is friendly and the place is pretty clean. The interior is rather dated and looks more like a country kitchen. So if you’re looking for “Asian restaurant” ambiance you won’t get it here. If you go, try the egg drop soup. It’s always thick, nice and warm. Those little sugar coated fried biscuit things are good too!

Been coming here for about 15 years. Food is ALWAYS excellent and I’ve never had a bad experience. Orders have always been correct, food stays hot well after arriving home and never had a reason to ask for a refund. Hands down the best tasting Chinese takeout I’ve ever had including the surrounding counties and in New York while on several vacations. Generous portions on takeout and yes the buffet is small but full of delicious items. Highly recommend.
