This place has been on my list for awhile and I finally made the drive out here. While I wasn’t expecting it to be inside a grocery store, everything else panned out as expected. We ordered the clab claws combo with potatoes, corn and added sausage. You do get 1/2lb of blue crab claws which was just enough for us to split. Stuck with the medium spice but got a side of the Cajun which was appropriately hot. We also ordered the keylime pie and gumbo/potato salad after we completed our meal. I’m not a fan of mixing my potato salad and gumbo together. Their potato salad was also on the sweeter side of things. While I didn’t get to eat the gumbo, I did try a sample. It has a rich dark roux with plenty of shrimp, chicken and sausage AND okra. The cold sample I got was good. We dined in as we drove in from Pascagoula, but most people probably get theirs Togo. Hours are in keeping with being a grocery store cafe.

Outstanding service and quality, great value for taking a big family. Portions were good and priced appropriately. Really loved the gumbo, but the po’boy was out of this world with the soft bread. Fish dinner was so good, fried to perfection. I will be back !

Shrimp combo was delicious!! I’d definitely go back! Great portion and pricing for sure! Seasoning on the shell seemed a little wasteful because it came off as you peeled it but at least dipping in garlic butter provided was delicious! My only complaint was they could have come out a little hotter and more steaming when served up.

Gave them a shot tonight but my food was way overcooked but still tasted like water and some spots felt cold. Called to let them know was told oh well we have never had any complaints before, I’d say from now on I’ll stick to happy tails!

Very nice staff taking orders over the phone for pickup and answered all questions I had about the food. Shrimp in the poboy were fried perfectly, as well as the swai for the fish sandwich. The fries were tasty and tartar sauce was fresh. My only concern was that the swai could’ve used a bit more seasoning, and that the fried fish sandwich was only a half size for what you pay.

Best gumbo I’ve ever had!! Very tasty, full bodied and just the right amount of spice. So thankful the nice young lady asked me if I wanted to sample the gumbo! The shrimp salad seems a little pricey but it is delicious and so worth it!!! I’ve never had such delicious gumbo and shrimp salad! Can’t wait to go again!
