First let me say my wife and I are spoiled with Saltgrass. After eating there for our date nights few compare. Longhorn was good. A good steak, good baked potato with amazing salt! My partner and I were starving when we walked in to this location. I was afraid our bill was going to be extremely high – it wasn’t. An even better situation is that our food was quite good. My partner ordered the baked sweet potato as one of her sides and said it was the best she has had while ordering out. She ordered the renegade sirloin.
I ordered the burger, it was large and delicious. I noticed the lettuce which was a deep green color and in shreds – the way it should be. The fries I had a little more salt than I am used to but they were perfectly prepared and stayed warm through my meal.
I recommend this place if you are hungry and don’t mind a little bit of a wait – which wasn’t bad and better than I expected. They weren’t slammed when we went but they had a fair number of customers ahead of us.

It was a busy Friday night, my daughter went to grab us (party of 3) a booth in case there was a wait which was a very short wait being a Friday. They let others who came in way after her take *our possible* booth tables who had a party of 2-5, then sat my daughter at a table, she ordered water from the waitress.
I showed up 15-20 minutes after she had gotten seated and got our water. As I walked in I told the hostess about it and he moved us to a booth without an issue, helped us move our stuff over to our booth. My daughter hadn’t seen our waitress for over 30 ish minutes by now, and the bread was not warm, ice had already melted so we requested another waitress who was amazing and constantly checking on us..
I ordered the Renagade Sirloin and it was an amazing steak, great flavor at the right temperature, and officially my new spot for the best steak in Hot Springs!!

We lost interest in eating at Longhorn Steakhouse after a few ho-hum meals. Fast forward a few years, we were given a LH gift card and went to give them a try again. And, wow, what an improvement from our previous experiences! The meals, service, attitude, and atmosphere are great. We don’t know what inspired the changes, but glad they did. LH is now one of our favorites.

Love the low lighting in the restaurant, very cozy. Highly recommend the Mac and cheese as a side, generous portion. The spicy chicken bites are incredibly tender but not spicy at all so heads up if you’re craving some heat. The fire shrimp app is enough as a meal- it’s one of the best shrimp apps I’ve had in a long time, fresh, crispy, and good seasoned flavor. As far as the steaks go, know exactly what temperature you like your steak cooked- every time I order it is spot on exactly the temperature I ordered which is heaven. Some places I have to order higher or lower on the temp scale because they don’t quite get it right, but this place is on the money every time. If you want something light, the 7 peppered steak salad for lunch is sensational, and boy the pepper spices are delicious. If you are counting calories, this is a good one to get, just don’t get any dressings and ask for some lemon wedges on the side, it makes for a good light taste and the dressings add at least 300+ calories alone, even the vinaigrettes, although they are tasty. One of the things I greatly appreciate about their lunch menu is even the steak salad comes with any side of your choice. Usually salad folks don’t get to pick a side so thanks Longhorn!

The restaurant had a great, authentic cowboy look and feel. I love how well it was maintained. The Parmesan Crusted Chicken Breast was not well prepared, not well cooked and seasoned. The fries were a little on the salty side. My server was tentative without hanging over me but unconcerned with the salt, she did recommend getting them unseasoned next time. The only other complaint was the a/c blowing directly down on my head. Not worth a repeat visit.
