I was initially made aware of this location while picking up pizza next door and was immediately drawn by the alluring aroma of Chinese food wafting out from within the restaurant. So, I had to go in and grab a menu and have a look-see as to what they offer. Told my folks about it, gave them the menu I grabbed on my way out, and said to give Hoa My a try next time they were up for some authentic Chinese food and have them pick something up for me when they did. They stopped by very recently for takeout and picked up a Mongolian Beef dinner special for me, and my goodness, it was so good. I ate it after a particularly arduous workout and was grateful for the delicious calories and protein provided in this meal. From the perfectly cooked, savory velveted beef to the crunchy eggroll and the well-seasoned fried rice, it was a fantastic, well-rounded meal. I am verily looking forward to trying all of the other menu items they have to offer. Cheers!

I’m working in the area and stopped by after walking past on my way back from the grocery store. I went in around 5 p.m. and saw a few regulars already enjoying dinner. Everyone was friendly, and the owner greeted me with a big smile and a menu.
I’m vegetarian and was happy with the options — the food came out quickly, was fresh, and tasted great. I especially recommend the vegetable soup and hot bean curd. My three-course dinner with hot tea came to just $20 before tip, which is an incredible value for the quality and portions.
The owner mentioned they’ve been in business for 31 years, and it’s easy to see why. If you’re in the area, you should definitely eat here.

20 February 2024 on vacation from MI. While staying in a hotel, less than 2 miles away, I had a taste for Chinese. I google, searched for some tasty authentic chinese food. Happy I came across Hoa-My. The food was surprisingly good. I had the dinner special shrimp in garlic sauce#12. I really liked the beef fried rice, very tasty. The owner was very friendly.

I placed my order over the phone for pick up I was told it was $86 and would take 25 minutes well I got there and ended up waiting 45 minutes and all of a sudden the total changed to $105 the lady claims her husband never gave me the total over the phone but I placed the order on speaker phone so everyone in my family heard him say $86 was the total. She was angry and it was not worth the fight then I got home and noticed I had some of the wrong dishes, I instantly threw them out because they smelled funny. I only went here because my normal place was closed but lesson learned. Their tactic of over charging and then getting upset seems to be a pattern for them. I do not recommend this place unless you’re desperate.

This was my 1st time coming here it was an awesome place. Food portions work excellent menu prices were extremely reasonable and the service outstanding. I couldn’t ask for more from a Chinese place very tasty indeed take on boxes for food to go home I’ll definitely be back this was walking distance from my home. I had so much food that I’m gonna have leftovers for tomorrow

Hoa My Chinese is an amicable place. The menu is extensive. I decided to order an egg drop soup and shrimp fried rice. The food came promptly and it was fresh and tasty. The shrimp were one inch long and abundant.

Food is great for the price… you can’t beat the prices here…If it were more expensive though , I don’t think this place would be my first pick … just being honest. But happy to support this small business with hardworking owners

Tables were quite dirty, and tables were left with dishes left after other customers left, glasses or ice appeared dirty. Food was decent, but I have much better Chinese. Tried really hard to feel comfortable there but I worry about sanitary practices there. Would not come back unless it was cleaner.

Fried rice was really good as well as egg roll. Hunan Beef had good flavor but I personally don’t care for velvetized meat. Everything was freshly prepared for my take out order.

I’ve been coming here for as long as I can remember, and it’s truly a family favorite. Whether we dine in or grab takeout, the quality and flavor are always consistent. The shrimp egg rolls and shrimp fried rice are outstanding and never disappoint. Great food, reliable service, and a place we’ll continue coming back to for years to come.
