The classic New Jersey diner. Large menu, welcoming atmosphere, great food, great service, clean bathrooms. Everything you look for.

Our server Vera was sweet, had great suggestions, and was very attentive.

The Thanksgiving sandwich was amazing and came with gravy to dip the sandwich in and sweet potato fries. The only thing missing was pumpkin pie.

The roast beef club was so large we had to take it home. French fries were perfect, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Each sandwich came with a cup of soup. The broccoli cheese had clear been cooking a while and was just what you want. Warm and delicious.

Huge slices of pie and rice pudding wrapped up a meal that was the highlight of our day.

My family of 6 were seated in a booth where the cold air from the vents made it extremely uncomfortable to enjoy, when we let our waitress know if it could be turned down alittle we were told that’s how it is in here.
The booth we were seated was dirty from guest before us. We told the staff about it and they send a staff member to clean it but they didnt do a great job. Staff didn’t make us feel welcoming, not one smile from anyone, and it felt more like we were being rush to eat and leave.
The food was good, pancakes and bacon egg and chesse sandwich were delicious.
Plenty of parking around the diner.

Had table side seating. Was fairly busy around 5, but when we left around 6 it was packed.

Service was polite and attentive. Had a young blonde waitress who recommended the breakfast foods. When you get the check you bring it to the register to pay. There’s free wifi.

Plates look fairly large but it’s manageable if you’re hungry.

Had the silver coin special breakfast – was a nice variety of typical diner food. ‘Made it platinum’ for the upcharge, but only got the French toast slice, not the extra toast. Used the ketchup on the table with my hash browns but I think the ketchup had sat too long in the sunlight and went a bit sour.

Silver coin bass ale battered haddock (Friday special menu) – deep fried fish was nice. Crisp and not oily. Picked spinach and mashed potatoes as sides, wasn’t seasoned. Used table salt and pepper. Thought the spinach was a bit over boiled. House salad, picked Greek dressing but it didn’t really feel any Greek to it, was expecting more acidity from olives or something. May have just been a lot of olive oil, probably should have gotten Caesar dressing instead because it was very oily.

Blueberry tart was nice, blueberries were good and the syrup wasn’t too sweet. The crust was crumbly and base/body felt more like cheesecake than just straight blueberry syrup.

Was comfortably air conditioned. Had a comfortable conversation volume.

This was my first time visiting the place and I was impressed with the service. An older woman served us and she was very friendly. I loved the food and I wouldn’t hesitate to stop by again if I visit the area in the future.

It’s a dinner… Little nicer than most. Food was ok. He really liked his burger . Chicken Parm was to be expected. Pasta overcooked. Sauce was thick and a little on the bitter side. Cheesecake tasted like the fridge had pickles in it.

This place is such a find! If you enjoy an old-school classic diner this is your spot! My waitress was super awesome! She made up for the rude woman that brought us to our table.

I ordered the crab cake sandwich and honesty it was the best crab cake iv ever had! We will probably stop here again on our way home and I will definitely be ordering the crab cakes again!

I also ordered the chicken noodle soup which you can tell is homemade! The fried mushrooms where also very good!
The Greek salad was also very very good!

9/10!

Spent $130, have been a regular customer for about 5 years. The last year the food quality has gone extremely down hill. Our burger was supposed to come with avocado and mayo, not only was it missing the burger was burnt, our chicken finger meals did not come with the honey mustard sauce that I love, everything that was fried like French fries and cheesesteak egg rolls were soggy and cold. The manager even had the balls to argue with me about them being soggy and cold because she “watched them” come off the hot plate. What ever happened to the customer is always right. There was absolutely ZERO seasoning in anything. There breakfast stuff I’ve had is halfway decent at best recently, lunch and dinner do not recommend. Silver coin just lost a very loyal customer.

This is a very nice diner. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The portions are generous. Our waittress was attentive and courteous. The restrooms are very clean with gorgeous upgraded fixtures. Everyone was very nice. We went during the holiday season and enjoyed the decorations. Very festive. They serve alcoholic beverages.

Old school diner. We had a small wait, but once seated our order was promptly taken by a friendly and knowledgeable waitress and the food arrived quick and hot. Our waitress was attentive and replenishing our drinks and coffee often. Even though the place was packed, we were not pressed to hurry – and truly enjoyed a lovely lunch.
The food was good, great fries, the portions generous. The menu is varied with lots of options and/or dietary needs. Wait persons are patient and accommodating.
Lots of families. The restaurant is accessible ♿️, with plenty of room at the tables. The bathrooms, however, even though they are accessible one must manage two doors to enter – and the space tight and requires patience. Large parking lot.
