This is my favorite of all their locations, as it seats more than others. They have mostly handrolls, with a few sashimi options. Always ask about the specials.

The rolls come out quickly, and the quality of the fish and experience is consistent through out of my years of patronage.

I went to this location because I thought they had outdoor seating, but unfortunately they didn’t. Since I was with my dog, I had to order takeout instead. They also don’t offer hand rolls for takeout, only cut rolls. The rolls themselves were really fresh and delicious, but I was a bit disappointed not to be able to enjoy the dine-in experience.

I have been a regular at the restaurant. When is used to have only one location the quality and the consistency was far more superior than what it is today. The good thing is that prices I feel have gotten lower. But along with that mostly they have one or two items missing in the menu. Nevertheless a good place to go to for a quick bite or if you’re going for a heavy dinner be ready to order.

My sister and I came to visit this spot after doing a quick search for sushi places while in K-town. So happy we found this place! Super easy to park, got seated right away, and the service was amazing. The menu is simple yet it was everything we wanted. We each got the 6 hand roll option and it was just enough! The hand rolls were SO fresh and so delicious!
I also recommend their cold sake!
We will definitely come back!

When you & your friend feels like having a sushi on a hot sunny Saturday. What a surprise no waiting. Got seated right away. The host was friendly and service was fast. We ordered our hand roll and sashimi. Just good enough for our cravings. The place is clean and cozy. Keep up the good work.

Really high expectation, given all the great reviews cross all locations. I looked at the menu and the price seemed fair for receiving Toro scallops lobster and other high-quality fish. But overall the quality of the fish, the taste and setup was quite disappointing for me. It wasn’t great sushi, nor was it poke. It was just Loafy mushy fish. That overall wasn’t great. I like that the rice was warm, and that the seaweed was slightly crispy but overall I wouldn’t come back. Otherwise, I like the lobster, the most followed by the scallops. The Toro surprisingly was the worst.

Beautiful, sunny location. With unchanged great quality. Always a pleasure to eat at KazuNori. Tuna and crab hand rolls are my favorite.

At 12pm on Friday – no wait.

To enter you have to go though the plaza, can’t enter through the main street door.

I had a great meal. I got the 3 rolls for $15. They were all really good. They served the rolls 1 ar a time which was a cool experience. I liked the atmosphere. I sat at the bar. The bar stools are close to one another but I liked the experience and didn’t mind sitting next to folks I didn’t know. If you like meeting people, it’s great for that. It’s also close quarters if you’re on a date, which is nice.
They have a no tipping policy and an automatic charge to the bill. I hope this means they pay the staff a livable wage, I didn’t see that in the explanation on the menu. I recommend stopping here if you are hoping restaurant to restaurant or just want a meal of rolls.
The price seemed inexpensive to average, which is nice for a classy place.

Kazunori is a well designed dining experience. In their small, narrow dining space, there is one long bar where you are served fresh hand rolls. Food service is instant since they’re right there, and their use of paper mats on the bar instead of individual plates speeds up cleaning afterwards so they can serve the next party. While the sushi chefs do their thing, the managers and servers work around them by refilling drinks, ginger, etc.
The vibe is nice. The decor is minimal and the lighting is warm. Unfortunately it’s pretty dark and it’s hard to take good food pics, but if you’re there in person, you’ll see the food just fine.
I ordered the six roll set, an order of halibut sashimi, and an extra eel roll. The ingredient quality is very high. The crab meat is real and for all the fish, you can really taste the flavor. I liked the bay scallops the most, which had a mentaiko-mayo sauce, I think. The halibut sashimi was also seasoned with a sour, salty sauce, maybe ponzu. Unfortunately i was a little disappointed with the hand rolls. A big part I enjoy about raw fish is the texture, the way the fish meat just has the tiny bit of bounce as your teeth cuts through it. I can’t enjoy that feeling with their hand rolls because they cut their fish up into very small pieces. Another major problem was the rice temperature. The sushi chefs use the rice straight out of the rice cooker. This is terrible because the moisture from the fresh rice goes directly to the seaweed around it, so upon service, the seaweed is already soft. It’s not crunchy.
The food is three stars but the service is five, I don’t think I will eat here again, just because of preference.
