Where do I start? This place is amazing. The staff is amazing. The atmosphere is very friendly to the point of feeling like you’re at home. The ordering process absolutely amazing you scan the QR code you pay and you get a text message letting you know that your order has been received. Then you got another text message that your food is ready and coming out. I gotta say, though the staff extremely friendly, very nice the young lady that said us absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend this place. The food is off the hook the raviolis absolutely amazing the little bread bites amazing fresh and the pizza you cannot go wrong. Just needs to be a stop for you. Kudos to the owner and the staff y’all are killing it. When we’re back in Nashville, we will definitely be back.

My husband and I love taking every opportunity to come here. The food, service, and quality are always outstanding. Hands down the best Italian restaurant in town!! So, it felt natural that we had them cater our wedding. They were so professional, kind, and went above and beyond!! We didn’t have the most ideal conditions due to some rain, but they adapted and overcame! I can’t recommend them enough. They even bring wood burning pizza ovens, which was a hit with the crowd. Our guests (and us, of course) loved the food and a few were even begging them to open up a restaurant in their home states because they were going to miss the food. They took great care of every dietary restriction we had for guests and made sure everyone was happy. Outstanding staff, service, and food. Can’t wait to come to the restaurant again soon!

Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a man named Gerald. He quickly sat us and explain the menu in detail. His knowledge of the different homemade pastas was much appreciated. My boyfriend and guy the black squid ink pasta with shrimp. I got Nonna Paula. Then, we both got a pizza to share between us.

Yum! This is a great date night spot to visit. I say good for all group sizes because when we went they “had just sat a 36 party table”. But, even with all that our food came out fast!

We got a couple appetizers, pictured is the meatballs, and then we also got carbonara pasta. Everything was delicious and really enjoyed sitting at the counter watching the food get made.

I enjoy the scan to order and pay option they have. Your unique code scanned brings up your table ID and your tab is paid at the end the same way. The only thing that made us unsure about this feature was the tip. The person who sat us, Allie, was so friendly and nice. She pointed out everything we needed to do and was very helpful and curious about our dining choices. Overall very friendly and heightened our experience.

Question is do you still tip the normal %? We wanted her to receive the tip because it was her that made the night more enjoyable but when you’re ordering and paying through the app (which I wish all restaurants should do especially for paying) it says all tips go to staff. So I’m assuming it’s tip sharing but confused on how it all works.

Regardless, this place is a must visit with no real complaints from us on our post-valentine’s day date night. Only wish we thought to take more pictures before diving into our food.

One of my favorite Italian spots in town, this restaurant consistently delivers great food and a relaxed atmosphere. The freshly made pasta is outstanding, perfectly cooked and full of flavor with most dishes priced around $18-20. Now the spicy pepperoni pizza is what steals the show! Their selection of Italian reds is impressive for the price, with several excellent options at about $10-12 a glass. I also love the convenience of being able to order and pay right from your phone, which makes the dining experience seamless and efficient. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. The only thing I’d love to see is a slightly wider selection of pasta dishes, but overall, it’s a fantastic place for a casual yet high-quality Italian meal.

The food was very fresh and amazing! Staff was friendly and helpful. This was my first time and I will be back.

You place your own order through you phone, it is different but I liked it. Food came quickly and accurately. Server was helpful in selecting a dish.

Penne Pazze is truly a gem among Italian restaurants in Nashville. One of the first things you notice is their seamless dining experience—you simply scan the code at your table, place your order through your phone, and pay directly from it. It’s effortless!

From the moment we stepped in, the modern ambiance set the tone for a memorable meal. Tyler, our server, was attentive and warm, ensuring everything flowed seamlessly.

We began with the Pane Puffs—delicate, fluffy Italian bread bites lightly tossed in olive oil, Pecorino cheese, salt, and pepper. Simple yet absolutely delightful. The Pinsa Pazza, topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella, and burrata, was the perfect balance of flavor and texture, while the Panini Caprese—crafted with their famous Pinsa dough, roasted tomato, pesto, and smashed burrata—was a standout combination of freshness and richness.

What makes the dining experience even more special is that their pastas are crafted fresh in-house, and you can truly taste the difference in every bite. The Crema di Broccoli, pasta with four cheeses and roasted pine nuts, was indulgent and comforting, and the Nonna Paula, pasta layered with cheese, pesto, sun-dried tomatoes, confit garlic, and olive oil, carried a depth of flavor that was simply exquisite. The Risotto al Funghi was another highlight—silky arborio rice infused with earthy mushrooms and finished with parmesan cheese, a dish that felt both rustic and refined.

For dessert, the Tiramisu was as luscious as one could hope for, paired beautifully with a smooth cappuccino. To end on a sweet note, we took home the Cannoli Cones filled with Nutella and ricotta—an irresistible treat to savor later.

Penne Pazze captures the essence of modern Italian dining with authenticity, creativity, and warmth. A place I would return to again and again.
