Came for a dinner. Surprisingly this new one was much better than the old one. Foods were delicious, close to Hong Kong taste. Portions not small. Prices were a bit expensive compared with other cafes. Nice environment. Spacious. Clean. High ceiling. Friendly service. Definitely will be come back to try another foods.

Had the beef chow fun and beef curry, both were great! Very nostalgic and great quality. Will be taking extras home with us in to-go containers.

New management is running the restaurant and they are excellent. Overall, a wonderful experience tonight. Fantastic service. And absolutely delicious food. We really liked the cauliflower dish. And the Singaporean noodles were delicious. We also had the beef stew. The decor is brand new too.

We wanted Chinese breakfast and we got it! Food was good, and the lady at the front made our visit welcoming.

The porridge was a bit bland therefore gave this place 4 stars as it would’ve been nicer if there was more flavour. There is a lot of dishes to choose from so that’s a bonus. The restaurants in a very good location, and you can easily spend an hour just browsing and walking along the street.

As one who lived in Hong Kong for many years, I’d say this cafeteria is the most authentic HK style one I’ve found in the Bay Area. You probably won’t find something out of box but every dish tastes the same as they are in Hong Kong! For example I’ve never found such authentic iced lemon tea anywhere else in the Bay Area.

This place looks nearly remodeled. Even has private room with 3 to 4 tables.

Had the noodles and Ovaltine French toast. Both were excellent. Though…. $12 for French toast? Inflation is real.

Think I have found my new go-to HK style cafe! Think they have new owner and restaurant has been updated. It’s now brighter and spacious with high ceiling. I love that they have lunch and afternoon tea specials which include choice of drink. It’s my second time here and food has been consistent, delicious and delivered fast! And to my surprise (being bias with Chinese restaurants), service is amazingly wonderful!

my favorite place for quick HK style dishes. We had Baked fish with cheese sauce over fried rice, Tofu beef over rice with a raw egg in the hot rice, plus a hot Milk Tea with Coffee. My favorite comfort food, reminds me of teenage years! Highly recommend this place!

Broadway bistro is kind of alright. I had their beef brisket braised noodles $14.50. The restaurant had one other party at 6pm. Service was is as expected for a Hong Kong style cafe. Prices have gone up since I’ve been here in April. The prices on their own website will be different than the printed menu. It looks like they were recently printed because they were on 8.5×11 paper and not lamented. As for my meal, the briskets were tasty. I didn’t ask for it, but it came with a side of XO sauce. Usually for braised noodles, there are little pieces of green onions and/or cassia (Chinese cinnamon.) Broadway Bistro didn’t have neither. As for portion size, I left the restaurant a little hungry.
