Wow!!! Have I said that ?
We will be back!
Thank you!
Unfortunately they didn’t have the menu item I wanted available which was a bummer. We ordered the brisket sandwich with coleslaw, burnt ends flat bread, and the wings with Mac & cheese.
I just wasn’t a fan of the food. The Mac was tasteless noodles way overdone, brisket had nice color on it but again the flavor was missing. The flatbread was almost like a cracker and also lacked the flavor you’d expect from bbq. With the variety of options we had and the pretty good reviews we saw I was hoping something would justify us going back but I just can’t.
The meats were tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection you can really taste the difference that comes from a genuine wood fire. The brisket was juicy with a perfect bark, the ribs fell off the bone. I don’t like the burnt ends but the server replaced it with Turkey. They Turkey is tender and not drive.
The sides were just as impressive from classic mac and cheese and beans You can tell they put care into every part of the plate.
The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, with that rustic BBQ charm, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout.
Whether you’re a barbecue enthusiast or just craving something hearty and delicious, this place hits all the right notes. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
The drive home took about 20 minutes and we ate our food right away. The food was very well packaged in their containers and the fries were wrapped up with syran wrap.
The food itself could have been better. There was no seasoning on the mac n cheese, and the fries tasted like they were heated in an oven. They weren’t salty or crunchy. The 1/2 plate of chicken came with the bone on it. Unfortunately, I didn’t know this when ordering and if i had known, I wouldn’t have gotten it because we could have stopped by a grocery store for a rotisserie. The chicken was good, don’t get me wrong. However, I feel like I could have gotten a better value by having it pulled from the bone.
My husband said the half slab of ribs were a solid 3/5.
I was there about 2:30 – 3:00 pm on Saturday. It should not taste like it was left overs and people say it was fresh. After hearing how good it was I left feeling extremely let down.
I don’t normally report on anything bad (look at my other reviews)and I’ll focus on the positive aspects, but there is no place to go.
We had a two meat plate with the turkey and brisket with beans + mac n cheese. The meat was glistening with deliciousness. Beans were spot on with pieces of meat and the mac was engulfed in a beer cheese.
We also had the pork tacos…y’all they melt in your mouth.
Very reasonably priced. Service was lightning fast.
Perfect spot to grab lunch. We saw quite a few customers grabbing big to-go bags.
Check these folks out!
