I’m from Washington state (home or teriyaki restaurants) After moving to Chicago, I struggled to find any places that tastes like home. K teriyaki is it! The gentleman who took our order greeted us with the most friendliest smile. He helped us choose what to order off the menu.
We got the spicy teriyaki chicken and chicken yakisoba. Both wonderful dishes.

Unbelievably fantastic. Every bit of this meal was so tasty. The meat was very tender, usually not a fan of plain white rice but even the plain rice by itself was somehow flavorful. Great portion sizes too, this was like 2.5 meals for me and I spent $10 on the lunch special. Wow

This spot serves Seattle-style teriyaki, which is a sweeter, thicker, and saucier take on the Japanese classic. I had the spicy chicken teriyaki lunch special and for the price, it was okay. The dish wasn’t spicy at all unfortunately. The chicken had a nice char but was a bit dry and coated in a sauce that was a bit too sweet for my taste. A touch more of soy sauce or salt would have balanced the flavors out nicely.

We’ve been here a few times and are always pleasantly surprised. The service is incredible and the food is consistently excellent. We especially love the chicken katsu—everything tastes fresh and well prepared. We recently came back for lunch and were impressed again by how fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced everything was. The menu has lots of interesting options like teriyaki and katsu dishes, and the owners are truly humble and accommodating. Definitely worth checking out.

We tried K Teriyaki about a month ago and we’ve gone 3 times. I’ve gotten the chicken yakisoba (noodles, chicken and veggies) and it never disappoints. Portions are large but somehow I always manage to eat it all. They give you a side salad, didn’t think much when I saw it on my plate BUT it’s so yummy. Always fresh crispy lettuce and the dressing is light and sweet. My husband has had the combo beef/shrimp teriyaki and beef stir fry, both great. Good flavors overall. Just know the yakisoba dishes come with a good amount of veggies (we love that). Definitely becoming regulars here!

Came here to try the Seattle-style teriyaki. We got the spicy teriyaki and yakisoba, both dishes were really good! I was impressed by the teriyaki and it was something my husband really was craving since he is from Oregan. He said it was as good as it is over there! My daughter and I shared the Yakisoba, the noodles were amazing as well as the veggies, she really liked the chicken! Overall, the food was really good and the servers, or owners, were really nice as well!

I I visited this place for the first time and was thoroughly impressed with the food. I opted for the chicken thigh lunch special, which included chicken rice and vegetables. The portion size was generous and reasonably priced, allowing my son and me to share the meal comfortably. They even provided me with extra teriyaki sauce.
The dining area was clean and inviting, and the bathroom was clean as well.
However, there was one minor issue. My food was not ready when I arrived. Since I had ordered online, I had anticipated it to be ready upon my arrival. The cashier informed me that he had forgotten about my order and asked me to wait for five minutes. I hope that they will take better care of online orders in the future to ensure timely pick up.

The food was excellent and the portions were generous! I had the noodles with beef, great quality meat and perfectly seasoned. My husband ordered the rice with beef, and while I personally didn’t love the flavor of the oil they use for the rice (I’m a little picky about that), it was still tasty and well-cooked. The restaurant is very clean, and the owners are incredibly kind and genuinely care about their customers. The egg rolls and their dipping sauce were absolutely delicious, crispy, flavorful, and freshly made! Highly recommend this place for a satisfying meal and great service.
