The view is amazing here, but that’s pretty much it. Drinks are okay and the main is so so. If you catch them at a bad time, it takes forever.

The tram runs every 20 minutes to the top of the mountain where the 1960 Olympics were held. Panoramic views in all directions. Food and beverage were available and a museum about the Olympic history was there, too. Highly recommend.

Very cool place. Tram ride is a must do for hikers. Sure it’s a bit expensive but take the first tram, take food and water, then spend the day taking in the glorious views. Last tram is 5PM so watch your time. Shade for brakes can be found under ski lifts and big trees. Enjoy the view of Lake Tahoe.

Nice view but tram tickets are very expensive and the service at the Poolside Cafe was super slow and very unfriendly. Service has to be bad for me to say anything negative. The day I went there were lots of families but it seems like they are more geared towards a party crowd.

Beautiful and stunning views, HOWEVER, we ran into problems. My girlfriend got food poisoning from her chicken salad and was sleepless the whole night (on vacation) throwing up. We also barely saw our waitress, who was pretty much nonexistent. This place has potential, but too many mistakes…

Great views but the two restaurants are too pretentious. It’s too hard to buy a beer and no outdoor seating. There are multiple flights of stairs to get to the restaurants and hosted controlled seating that doesn’t put customer service first.
