Sushi Zono is a family-owned Japanese restaurant and sushi bar, located outside of downtown Campbell. The restaurant has been around for over 30 years and has seen many positive reviews from critics. Haru Takeda, owner and head chef, has experience in sushi well over 25 years. It is this devotion to the art of sushi that results in fresh, beautifully cut fish that is without peer in the area. Eibo Takeda, son of the owner, has also taken into the dream and is currently working as sushi chef at Sushi Zono. Sushi Zono offers great service and food. We recommend you try the unique appetizers only found at this restaurant as well as the freshest fish found in the area.

The food tastes amazing. The chef is always so friendly and outgoing behind the sushi bar. Service wasn’t perfect, but they were really busy and they were doing their best ro go above and beyond. I have been going here for over 20 years and am never disappointed.

THE best sushi place. The food was to die for: fresh fish, crispy tempura, and flavorful tuna tataki. Every dish was a hit, and we were even given complimentary salmon! This is officially my new favorite sushi restaurant for its amazing food, ambience, and quality service. (Not to mention beautiful presentation)

Really wanted to like this family style restaurant but sorry I was disappointed. With the same price level I’d definitely go to Dan nearby (though it’d be a long line there). Service was good. But waiting was long even through there weren’t that many customers. And the food is really hard to love. Sushi rolls were okay and everything else was meh. Look at the chicken karage in this photo – just by the appearance you know it’s not great. The spinach salad was way too salty and sweet. Hmmm just not appealing nor satisfying. Hope their food will be improved.

Food is too slow, and too salty. Service is slow, we sat for 40 mins and only got the salad served. The salad feels like just out of the fridge. Never being to a Japanese restaurant so bad as this. I regret coming to this place in a Valentine’s Day night, aweful!
