It’s a food truck so take your order to the beach or something. Now, the food is absolutely delicious, ample spice as you would expect and desire from real Jamaican food and be prepared for large portions! I had the ribs and my wife had the Jerk fish, both were excellent, all the sides we had were great and the cornbread is to die for. Can’t wait to try the Oxtail next time I’m hungry again. Please consider this on your trip as you will not be disappointed.

Food was mid. My friends and I ordered the Jerk Ono , Cornbread sliders, oxtail and patties. Ono tasted like it was sweet chili sauce. Oxtail was a soup which is not specified as such on the menu and very bland. As a Jamaican this was very disappointing. Flavours were very off and muted . Didn’t taste like the food I grew up with. Cornbread was very sweet. Patties were ok .

Great Jamaican food in the heart of Kona, we took ours to go and ate at a beach park! So great to have found this place, flavor was perfect and the portions large!

Found this through goggle review and was not disappointed. The owner was very nice. Like another reviewer noted, this is strictly regarding the food, not the ambiance. This is a food truck parked at a gas station (kind of cool actually. Saying we ate great Jamaican food in Hawaii at a food truck parked at a gas station… Who would’ve thought ). Came here with the family (10 of us) and it was delicious! The owner put out a collapsible table and chairs under a mesh canopy.

We had the catfish, brisket, oxtail, pulled pork, bacon wrapped ribs, and jerk chicken. Also got a few of the Jamaican beef patties. These were a little different from the ones I remember eating in NYC, but still enjoyed this version.

The owner made everything to order and could go light or heavy on the spice, which we appreciated. We got sides of yellow rice& beans, curry potatoes, fried plantains, and what we Cubans call tostones (another version of the fried plantains that look like chips). Nothing negative to say about the food. It was great and would definitely recommend.

Delicious and flavorful food! His menu had everything for our group which included us vegans. Our group had the ono plate and the corn bread sliders, quinoa salad, fried plantains and curried potatoes. We had driven by several times during our stay. So glad we stopped by here before we flew home. Fish is doing what he loves. Please stop by and try it out! Mahalo for your hospitality and food. We appreciate you!

The sliders are SO GOOD, we had them for lunch and are going back for more for dinner. Even all 4 kids devoured them. The cornbread buns will blow your mind! The meat was perfectly seasoned and marinaded, honestly best Jamaican food we’ve had, even better than in Jamaica!

We came back again after an amazing meal of the bacon wrapped ribs and oxtail soup. Both ribs and oxtail are super tender and melts right in your mouth!! Wish this business gains more popularity as it’s well deserved one of the best food places in Kona

Literally the best thing we had on our entire trip. Like seriously so good we went three times in a row! You can’t go wrong with anything you order everything was excellent. The flavor combinations the fixings the cornbread muffin (drooling just thinking about it) I’m telling you run don’t walk to this amazing food option on the big island! Mahalo!!!

With no view or fancy seating/plating to offer, the food is in focus. This jamaican food truck easily tops all of the restaurants by the Kona beach. Everything has so much flavor! This feels like honest food. The price you see is what you pay, no additional 20-30%. The jerk chicken was the star, the lamb was good too! Recommend taking the food eat by the beach and enjoy the sunset.

Go! The food is worth it! Arthur is a great guy! Check out their daily specials and you wont be disappointed with anything you order! We ordered the corn bread sliders and the bacon wrapped ribs! He’s on the corner at the 76 Gas station and has a nice little sit down area and a cooler full of cold drinks!
