What a hidden gem in Collinwood!! If you’re looking for a place that has a “chill” vibe, excellent service, awesome food and can rival any fine dining establishment in the Cleveland area, this is it!
Last night my husband and I had a concert to attend at Beachland Ballroom and were looking for a close place to have dinner before the show. Upon doing research, I came across Charter House Grille. After reading the reviews, looking over the menu and seeing pictures of the restaurant and dishes offered, we decided to check it out.
Our visit did not disappoint! In fact, it far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in to the time we left, we were warmly welcomed by everyone and made to feel special as if we were the only customers dining. It’s one of those places where you come in as strangers but leave as friends. The service was impeccable and the food and specialty drinks were out of this world! We want to thank Amber and Dave for making our evening fun and enjoyable. Also want to give kudos to the chef, who not only created the masterpieces we devoured, but personally came to our table to ensure we were satisfied with everything.
We may live an hour away, but we will be coming back and bringing friends and family with us!

It was our first time visiting this establishment and we will definitely return. The food (crab cake, blackened snapper, and lobster ravioli w/shrimp) all flavorful with nice portion size. The drinks (old fashion, blackberry peach margarita and blood orange side car) made by Ashley were exactly how they needed to be. Our server Ebony was great, very attentive and gave honest recommendations. We were even gifted an extra meal that we were thankful for.

When I say top tier service, food and atmosphere in the center of a thriving urban community, that’s exactly what I mean. From the moment you enter the doors you are greeted with a warm smile and pleasant attitude. This place stays busy because the food is excellent and the service is great. The bar is always open for seating to have dinner, other than that you should make a reservation or come as soon as they open. The food is great (did I say that already) and the drinks are tasty and strong. Two thumbs up

Had a Birthday dinner for my Aunty lastnight there. Everything was nice I enjoyed my server last night believe his name was Anthony and the cook my mom took a real big liking into him but all was a success Thank you to everyone I will be back. Only bad thing was it was way to much ice my family and I had slip ups trying to get from the parking lot to the door of the establishment the streets are terrible.

Listen up!! If you don’t go anywhere else for a meal go to the Charter House! Wow everything we had was absolutely delicious!! Even the blackberry margaritas were hitting on that upper lever with good alcohol amounts where you taste it and feel it! So we had steak rolls and grilled shrimp for appetizers 2 different plates!! Yummy! Then we had the short ribs in rootbeer sauce over garlic mash and seired brussel sprouts!! Absolutely delicious!! I had the red snapper with creole sauce over garlic mash and steamed broccoli!! What a powerful dish for the taste buds!! We definitely recommend Charter House Grill and we will return for this experience… To finish off the night peach cobbler and cremee brawle!! Wow! All I can say!! Get you some!

The place was a tad crowded for a Saturday night which was a good sign! A good sign that did not disappoint! We opted to sit at the bar and be served by Amara! She was amazing! She acknowledged that the place was over crowded but she assured us she would take care of us! She did! We had the truffle fries and the lobster ravioli AMAZING! We went with an espresso for a drink perfection! We shared a baked red snapper which did not disappoint! Finished with a sweet treat the peach cobbler! We were pleased! The service the food and the price point! Thanks for the perfect date night!

It was the first time my wife and I visited this establishment and we really enjoyed our time here. Our waitress, I believe her name was Vonnie, was excellent and very attentive. She had a great personality and really made our date night feel special. We started of with a couple drinks, a spiced apple sangria for my wife and a long Island for myself, they were very good. We ordered the grilled shrimp appetizer and also really enjoyed that. For our entrees my wife ordered blackened snapper and I ordered the penne Alfredo with steak. My wifes fish was cooked well and she enjoyed it very much. My Alfredo dish unfortunately had a broken sauce, the dish was still not bad, I would have liked to have tasted it as intended. The management was also excellent in making every effort to make sure we didn’t leave dissatisfied. We were offered dessert to make up for the mishap and it was really delicious. We had the cheesecake which is made with purple potatoes and really surprised my wife and I with it’s excellent flavor. Overall we were very pleased with the atmosphere and the amazing service, which made our 10 year anniversary meal really memorable for us. We will certainly return again, and look forward to trying some of their other dishes.

My man and I recently went to Charter house grille for a date night. The food was delicious we had lampchops and salmon. I just wish there was a glaze for the lamb chops. The atmosphere was calm and the service was great! Our server V was attentive, sweet and very thorough. She made the experience seamless by describing menu items, remembering the small things without us having to ask and having a great vibe the entire time! We’ll be back!
