I road-tripped here to meet a friend for lunch, since it was midway between Somerset and Louisville. Turned out to be a great choice! Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Place has a nice vibe. Very clean. Good location right on the main drag. Parking was easy. The server couldn’t have been nicer. Springfield is cool small town. I recommend.

My whole family went there on Dec 21st for my husband’s birthday. A friend had told me about it and how good it was, so since none of us had been there we took a chance.
And we can’t wait to go back. We all had different cuts of steak, filled for 2 of us, sirloin for a couple, and ribeyes for the other 2. And they were all stationed to perfection and so tender, even the well done ones. For sides someone got sweet carrots very good, mac n cheese, i didn’t care for it, but the kids and my daughter liked it so that’s all that mattered, I had a baked potato and my one complaint, and I hate to complain, but my potato needed cooked a little bit longer and it was barley warm, the butter wouldn’t even melt. But that’s ok because everything else was delicious. 3 of us got the salad bar as a side, and we will go back just for that. It was reminiscent of the salad bars of the past, fresh, all the dressings,magnificent chicken salad,pasta salad,broccoli salad, coke slaw, and what I think was homemade pimento cheese chefs kiss. Cold crisp lettuce, and all the other veggies,except bell pepper, didn’t see any of that, but they also had some fruit and what I think was a fruit dip and or pudding. And of course craisins, seeds,croutons, all the goodies. Prices weren’t bad for a terrific steak house. $66 for my husband and I and they brought him out a free dessert for his birthday. The lava cake with a tiny bit if ice cream and it was plenty for each of us to get a bite or 2, which is all that we needed or could hold. Staff was so very sweet and attentive. And there’s a going girl there helping her family and she came out and wished my husband happy birthday. Highly recommend this place. They have pasta, soup, salad, egg plant parm, something for everybody!!! Ps I did call and make a reservation because we had 6 of us, but there was room. It was 630 on a Sunday evening and they did have a lot of customers. Oh and parking is out front but also to the side, where you see Abe Lincoln, there’s a little lot.

Excellent across the board. Perfect Steak with baked potato and asparagus side. (Celiac ordered sans seasoning, and everything was delicious. ) Our server was friendly and funny. Great spot for dining alone or with a group. Pleasant atmosphere. Easy street parking too.

We went there by chance while attending the Spring Fest Craft Fair. Service was fast, server very friendly, steaks were great and prepared to order, they even gave me a slice of cheese cake for my birthday when requested by a member of my group.
Their steaks will compete with any other steak house. Excellent flavor and each was cooked to order. We highly recommend this place.

I am so happy for Springfield to have a quality, and seemingly reliable restaurant. Haven’t had a bad meal here yet. They actually make their own crab cakes- which were delicious, and served with mango and Pico on the side. Catfish was great, fried pickles are very yummy. So far, this place has been great. If had to pick one complaint, it’s just that the salad bar sometimes has a few pieces of lettuce that need to be picked out. But it’s great and has an awesome variety of toppings to choose from. This place is worth stopping in!
