Came here our first night because we could get in with no wait. After trying some of the other locally recommended places, blown away that Keeper’s doesn’t have an hour wait at all times. Rarely do we hit a place a second time on vacation but we had to go back. It was our first and second best meals of the week. Chargrilled oysters were excellent. Crab cakes excellent. Farmers salad excellent. Blackened catch of the day (triple tail pictured) perfect. Some of the more recommended places in Port St Joe have substantially longer waits, and can’t begin to touch the flavors offered at Keeper’s from beginning to end of your meal.

Excellent crab cakes, lovely service, cosy atmosphere. I asked for a suggestion for a cocktail since I hardly ever have them and the one she recommended for me was delicious. Glad I was within walking distance of my hotel afterwards! Love that they support local artists too.

A gem of a restaurant! We found it to be family friendly, a nice ambience, and very good food.
We had oysters and a pimento cheese starter with a few very tasty and good cocktails. All very good.
Dinners included market fish (red snapper) and a smash burger with house salad. Again, all was very good.
This is an outstanding restaurant in this area and I recommend it.

Fantastic meal. Special was short rib pasta which I had, she got the seafood scampi on squid ink pasta.
Great meal, eaten outside, enjoying live music from across the way, and our server Hunter was a lot of fun and very conscientious.
Started with tomato bisque and ended with strawberry banana bread pudding. It was excellent.

On our Sibling Vacation, we were recommended to try Keepers Bistro in Port St. Joe, FL. It was a great recommendation!!! This place had it all!! Fantastic food, great service, tasty cocktails and lovely atmosphere! We had quite the mixture of food between the group from the Burger to the Triple Tail. Everyone raved about their order. We will be back for sure and if you’re looking for a great place, definitely give Keepers a try!!

Celebrated our 42nd anniversary. Eddie made it very special with flowers and a candle at our table. The service and food were outstanding! A hidden gem! Definitely worth a visit!

Although I normally don’t eat fish, the shrimp plate was good! Besides that The burger was great as was the salad.
Staff was super friendly and understanding in regards to menu preferences due to allergies.
Nice clean place with plenty seating, inside and out.

Only thing we screwed up with was the timezone… we didn’t knew Port St Joe is in the Eastern timezone. Despite we being an hour late they served us well!
We were not the first and won’t be last.
They even have some great local brew available. So if you just want to have a drink they have plenty options.

A.Ma.Zing. We are from IL, and this is downtown Chicago level cuisine. Inventive, delicious, and beautifully plated. Suzanne was our waitress and was warm and friendly. I wish we didn’t just vacation here… this would be our date night spot for sure. Can’t wait to be back.

I loved the Farmers salad. W loved raw oysters with horseradish and other sauses. I loved the Ramalade sauce. W loved the fresh red snapper. W needed more greens… Our waitress was VERY accommodating to bring Brussel sprouts after photo. W usually doesn’t like them buts these were great with fish!

Absolute perfection! The service and food was incredible. I’m a local and know fish. Flounder bites were cooked perfectly! The crab cake stuffed flounder was to die for. I had the goat cheese salad with grilled chicken and it was presented beautifully and tasted even better! Do yourself a favor and go eat here when you come to PSJ!
