Since it’s a new establishment, patience is needed as they are still a bit short-staffed. However, the staff on hand were very helpful and working hard to keep everything running smoothly.
Highly recommend for family outings, parties, or even a rainy weekend with the kids. We’ll definitely be back.
Update! Friend booked a lane so walked in and asked to book the empty lane next to him and was denied due to being booked but the place was dead! Literally nobody came within 5 or 6 lanes the entire hour. Awful customer service. The bowling lanes are poor quality and not quality, fun but should be much cheaper based on the equipment they have, balls would move left and right due to conditions of the brand new lanes. Floors are sticky and seemingly not regularly moped. I get it, sticky beer and drinks but nobody wants to step in nasty sticky floor. Hope it survives! Will return but it’s new and hopefully just working out the details.
I visited 810 Entertainment at Dulles Town Center, and I was shocked by the lack of management and blatant disregard for safety.
The Safety Hazards (Serious Concern):
The facility itself feels like an unfinished construction site. There is raw, exposed plywood ripe for a child to get splinters—a massive injury risk for the families and children who visit this mall.
The most alarming issue, however, was the completely unmonitored axe-throwing lanes. I witnessed two sharpened axes sitting out in an open, empty lane with no staff present or any physical barrier preventing someone from walking up and grabbing them. When I alerted the staff that sharp weapons were sitting unattended in a public space, I was dismissively told they would “lock them up later.” Leaving unsecured weapons in a high-traffic mall area is incredibly reckless and negligent.
The Mini Golf:
Save your money. At $15 per person, I expected a professional course. Instead, it’s a “janky,” poorly designed DIY project made of 2x4s, plywood, and bricks. The physics are nonexistent, and the design is frustratingly bad. It is not worth the price of admission and feels like it was thrown together with zero attention to detail or quality.
This place is a major liability and a tragedy waiting to happen. I will not be returning and have reported these conditions to mall management and local authorities.
The staff were helpful and made the birthday celebration feel special, and the variety of activities kept all the kids engaged the entire time.
Highly recommend for birthday parties or just a fun day out with family and friends. We’ll definitely be coming back!
We were with my 2 year old and asked if we could bowl and they said “no we can’t do bowling right now” I went up again and asked if I could join the waitlist for bowling and was told there was no waitlist and to just use the website extremely dismissive (it was 6pm the earliest “slot” on the website was 9pm). This would be the only bowling alley in the area without a waitlist.
We hung around for a little. They have two sections for bowing. In the one section alone there was 12 open lanes. Guess the business does not like money, if the service continues how it is, it will not last in this area.
The food was surprisingly great for an entertainment venue—fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. It wasn’t just “bowling alley food”; it felt thoughtfully prepared and perfect for a night out with friends or family.
A huge shoutout to Mark, the GM, who truly goes above and beyond. You can tell he takes pride in the experience guests have—he was professional, approachable, and made sure everyone was taken care of. His leadership really shows in how well the place is run.
If you’re looking for a fun, well-managed spot with great vibes, great food, and top-tier service, 810 Entertainment Bowling is the place. We’ll definitely be back!
