Pretty decent sushi for a small town in Indiana. There is no Hibachi bar where they cook in front of you like we were expecting when we walked in. We did have a good meal and will add it to the places to grab something different this summer while on the lake.
Looking forward to testing the General Tso chicken, which has become one of my foods I try where ever I go. Since we are in town regularly I let it go till the next time.

Five of us recently met for lunch and a fab session. Everyone seemed pleased with their selections. My mother and I each chose to do the luncheon special of 3 rolls each. The sushi was pretty good for this small town. It was my second time eating there and I think it has improved considerably.

Miso was flavorful and the beef was very tender. Didn’t care for the canned corn in it, but that is my preference. The tempura shrimp was very good and it even came with a few pieces of fried veggies. My tea could have been brewed a little stronger.

STAY AWAY!!! The food was unfortunately not cooked well! I’m so disappointed in the chief and cooking style. The water was the best of the meal! The lobster was like eating a crawl fish! I know the crawl fish would have more flavor. The fresh food comes from the freezer in the picture. I wouldn’t waste my money or time here. The entire group is headed to Burger King to have a flavorful meal. I can’t believe that I can’t even cook rice. What a waste or time and money! The staff seems overwhelmed, but it’s a plain disregard of great service!!STAY AWAY!!!!!

My family and I went here for my birthday dinner. Someone recommended that I go here so I was really excited to find somewhere near me to get sushi. It was so good, even my picky daughter that is very hard to impress was so happy with the food here. She loved it, and so did we. The service was great! The waitress even made my little girl a balloon animal after we were done. Very happy to find this out here, excited to come back. Definitely going to recommend this place to all my friends and family. Thanks again!!

Omg! So good. I brought the whole family. We all tried different things. I had the Teriyaki chicken Bento box. It was delicious. We also got Beef Ramen, Filet & Lobster tail combination, spring rolls, Gyoza, fried bananas, and Ice cream tempura. It was all good. I can’t wait to go again. The prices are reasonable. The atmosphere was beautiful. Highly recommended!

We had just sushi and fried rice. I personally did not like the fried rice but I know my boyfriend did. I will list the sushi we had:
California roll, spicy california, shrimp tempura, dragon roll, thunder roll, and crispy roll. I absolutely lovveeeee them all! They were sooooo good. I have tried alot of sushi in different places but this restaurant so far has the best sushi, for me. And it’s so close to where i live. I dont have to drive 40 min away from home just to get sushi.
When i go again I will try something different and update this.
Update: I finally went inside and the waitress was so sweet and so friendly! Honestly this place is such a vibe! And the food so delicious!!! I LOVE THEIR SUSHI!!!

Delicious tasting Sushi. Just what Monticello has needed for a very long time.
We tried the spicy Tuna, Salmon, Eel and Avocado, Dynamite and Alaskan rolls.

We were seated as soon as we walked in. Drink and order was taken just a few minutes after arriving did was brought out within just a few minutes and everything tasted great.

Large selection of sushi and rolls. We did not order from the hibachi menu, but there are many options there as well. Small dining area but very well decorated and clean. All rolls we ordered were delicious.
