The renovated post office building has a classic rustic vibe (which is somewhat ironically offset by the unsightly ketchup bottles on the tables lol). The dim lighting, low overhead lights and old-timey wallpapers fit perfectly.
I came for the chicken pot pie and it did not disappoint. Warm and comforting especially on a cold winter night. Creamy filling and flaky crust were excellent. The seasoned butter on the top was a nice addition. Drinks were had an interesting mix of flavors and textures. They even provided a free pull apart pastry.
Service was friendly and professional. Prices were definitely elevated, but overall a great experience.

We patronized the supper club as it just reinvented itself at the end of September. The entire experience was fantastic.
From the moment we walked in, it felt like stepping back to the 50s. The staff was incredible—friendly, thorough, personable, and more.
We had the chance to speak with Alyson Newquist, one of the owners. She is incredible. We discussed her vision, passion, and love for this dining experience. Who would have thought a Cultural Geographer could be this culinary? 🙂
The chefs make everything from scratch. They only cook dishes that matter. You won’t see a burger and fries on the menu today. You might never. They love cooking what they would eat.
I’ve attached some pictures of our meal. The Chicken Pot Pie was fantastic, the beet salad was fresh and delicious, and the chicken confit was tasty. I had the bees’ knees gin, honey, and lemon martini.
We ate the Apple Tartin for dessert (not pictured) and I snapped photos of the current menu (Oct. ’25).
Was it worth the 30-minute drive? Absolutely.
Will we be back again? Yes.

Atmosphere is great. Service is awesome. The food is great. But the steak is way to peppery. Dipped in flour and fried. Not how I was expecting my steak. After scraping off the stuff on it, The steak was cook to perfection. Servers are awesome

We shared a dining experience with some friends and the food was amazing! Alec, the executive chef came to our table to ensure our meals were prepared to our likings. I had the pot pie l, which was absolutely delicious!
The restaurant itself, has the greatest ambiance and charm! We will definitely return!

We just had a wonderful experience at the supper club! We’d been here before the change in ownership and has a great experience, even better tonight! We were there tonight for a special occasion, group of 14, 4 young children! They set us up in an awesome room (with individual bathroom) at not extra cost. The owner checked on us multiple times, helped with family photos and was so attentive to our large group! Food, drinks and service was AMAZING! We live in anoka, love the speakeasy downstairs, and will definitely be referring people here. No complaints, great photo ops, amazing food and drinks, cannot wait for another special occasion to visit!

Finally had the opportunity to sit down and enjoy a meal at Club 300.
The venue is picture perfect in the old Anoka post office building.
Decorated eloquent and very nice seating.
The deviled eggs were amazing. Creamy, flavorful and unique. The entree salad was about what we expected. The filet mignon was tender, cooked correctly, and full of flavor. The potato option was good and cheesy. The brussel sprouts were over cooked and I wish I would have chose a different vegetable with my plate. Overall still a 5 star restaurant with everything we enjoyed.
Staff was very helpful and pleasant.
Will be back soon to try other menu options.

(note, below reviews are prior to Social Contract – I will update in the near future) Update Dec 2024 – I wanted to give an update as there is a new owner and the staff and menu have been refreshed. I just for dinner last night and the new “scratch/made to order” kitchen hits all the right spots! We shared the Burrata and it was so creamy and delicious. For main course, I had the Alfredo and my husband had the Mac & Cheese – both were outstanding! The food is a notch above what it had already been; I was truly thrilled. I cannot wait to go back!
(ding for atmosphere – only because of cold air that was pouring in near our table from a door nearby – I know it’s a MN problem, but it really is a bummer. I will pick a better spot next time.)

Very good Pot pie! Our Pasta/shrimp came cold with not very fresh tasting shrimp. The sauce was overly spiced to the point where it stung to eat it. The side dish, a butternut squash hash was cold. They served room temp water without ice. The water tasted like it came from old plumbing, which of course it is from an old building. Our friends joined us and one meal was forgotten so they gave her a free glass of wine. At least they tried to get her taken care of. Very cool atmosphere however! May have been just a bad night for them.

Went to Club 300 for my mother-in-law’s birthday. Honestly, for the price, the service was a mess. The menu didn’t say anything about garlic on the steak, but it came covered in it—so back it went. Took about 45 minutes to come back, and instead of medium, it came out butterflied and well done. Not even close.
I had the chicken and wild rice soup—good. My father-in-law had the lamb—also good. My wife ordered her steak medium rare, and it showed up just under well done. So yeah, also overcooked. To top it off, both my wife and mother-in-law ordered baked potatoes. They were brought mashed instead, and only *then* were they told baked wasn’t available. You tell people when they order something and you’re out of it—you don’t just change their order without saying a word.
Then came the bill. They charged us for four filets instead of three. Took forever to fix that, too. Total was over $300 with drinks, and not even close to worth it. And the bathroom? No paper towels and no air dryer. Just nothing.
For a place charging this much, the service and kitchen coordination should be way better. They should also know how to cook a steak.

Incredible dishes, you can tell the chefs put their heart and soul into every recipe. New owners have done an amazing job with the place. Friendly, prompt service. 10/10 for food, drinks, atmosphere, service.. etc! Highly recommend.
