Average korean BBQ, nothing too memorable. Service could be better, they spilled water all over our table and my husband, no apologies were made really. Will be giving 5 stars anyways, restaurants have hard time surviving as it is. Will not be coming back though.

Came here with a couple friends and went with their AYCE Tier C at $61.99, which felt like a fair price considering how many premium cuts are included. Food-wise, the highlights were the giant beef short rib (bone-in) and the marinated short rib — both came out tender and flavorful. We also liked the pork belly, rice cake rolls, and sausage links, and the DIY KBBQ tacos were a nice bonus and ended up being one of the better bites of the night. The space is open enough for groups, and service stayed on top of things without feeling rushed. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you want Korean BBQ with a big selection of meats. I’d come back, especially for those giant short ribs.

Originally was going to rate a 3/5, but the seasoned meats were actually worth it. We were in the area, and there were a few other KBBQ restaurants in every corner. We decided to give this one a shot.

Parking: Valet parking for $3. I was honestly baffled that there was valet parking only bc they’re located in a small corner with very limited parking. AND I parked my own car lmao. The valet worker was aggressive. He will literally track you down for your keys.

Ambiance/Environment: They have a large space with plenty of indoor seating. No outdoor seating. It’s dark inside with moderate music. Perfect spot to bring your friends and family for dinner. It can use a cleaning as there was a mess in the back area with the worker’s boba drinks sitting on the tables that weren’t being used and boxes on some of the booths.

Service: Once you enter, wait for a server to seat you. It took a while before one of them noticed us. There were many servers that assisted us. They were quick & efficient, but it was very difficult to wave one of them down.

Meats & sides: There were 3 menu options to choose from. We went with Option C. I like how the menu is organized. We tried all their new meat items like the spicy beef brisket, garlic beef sirloin, seasoned giant short rib, lemon herb salt steak. We enjoyed all their seasoned meats! The complimentary banchan was okay. We also ordered other sides from the kitchen: steamed egg, corn cheese, pancake. For whatever reason, it took a while for these to come out, and we could tell they have just been sitting in the back. The steamed egg was hollowed in/flat, and the cheese of the corn was melted but slightly hardened. The only thing that was enjoyable was the pancake. It was crispy on the edges and tasted delicious.

Pricing: This is LA. Of course prices are $$$. The meats are worth it, but the experience can definitely be improved.

This place is a gem. Great atmosphere, amazing service and staff, and high quality meat and sides. Road to Seoul is very competitive with other BBQ. Their quality is excellent and beats other more expensive kbbq. The staff and services are also executive which makes the place more enjoyable, unlike other places that get upset when you order more meats and sides. Been here with family and other times with friends either way it’s an excellent venue. Highly recommended and definitely worth your time and business.

Last minute, I called to reserve a table for 19 people, and honestly I wasn’t sure it would even be possible — but they handled it perfectly. The staff was incredibly accommodating, organized, and welcoming from start to finish.

The service was excellent, the food was fresh and delicious, and they made my entire family feel comfortable and taken care of. Managing a large group isn’t easy, especially on short notice, but they went above and beyond.

Huge thank you to the team for making our family gathering such a great experience. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place for groups and family dinners.

After a terrible experience at Hae Jang Chon, my group of friends and I decided to come check this place out for some good KBBQ, and let’s say that it was miles ahead of the competition. The food was incredible, the service was fantastic, we were able to get seated even though, once again (due to trying to find parking nearby in KTown on a weekend) one of our friends was missing (total group of 4, the 4th person came like 10 minutes later). Price was reasonable, cuts of meats were fantastic. The grill was changed regularly, everyone from the staff was so friendly, courteous and polite. 10/10 restaurant for KBBQ in KTown!

This is the only Korean bbq place I go to because the service is so quick and so amazing! Jin, won and the other workers always have such a positive and happy attitude that it makes coming here even better. The sides are incredible and the portions are great!!!!

Who doesn’t love kbbq?! There are 3 different options. We got Option C! Enjoyed every dish and meat! Meats were high quality and tasted amazing!

Meats we got
-Beef Brisket
-Seasoned Beef Short Rib
-Ribeye Steak
-Bottom Sirloin
-Beef Tongue
-Calf (small) Intestines

The cheese corn and tofu stew hit the spot too! Definitely get those!

Come early as there could be a wait!

5 Bulgogi, 8 beef rib, 27 rib finger very yummy. Pig don’t try yet.
Tongue meat, not tasty, in our CIS countries it is served boiled and in thick chunks. it’s cold in the restaurant.

Didn’t like the atmosphere in the restaurant, but not a dumpster fire of a place either because the music speaker is only to one side or because of the design, I don’t get it

Nice late night Korean BBQ spot that’s easy to dine at and enjoy. Giving this 5 star purely because they have great hours and great service. The price is about what you’d expect from KBBQ – not as cheap as other places but not as long a wait, and this location is open until 1 am on some days. Good sides (especially the cheese corn) and all the classic main dishes. Had a great experience and would recommend if you want to get some late night KBBQ.
