This is a great spot to catch the sunset and on Thursdays to Saturdays 8 to 10 pm there is a live pianist. It was busy, so service took awhile. We got our popcorn after about 30 minutes of waiting.

I had the pleasure of being served by Curtis at the Sunset Lounge bar, and I can’t say enough about the incredible experience. He crafted the most stunning white Negroni I’ve ever seen — not only was it perfectly balanced and delicious, but it was also visually breathtaking. For my second beverage, Curtis delighted me with a Gilded Boulevardier. Curtis’s attention to detail, creativity, and warm professionalism truly elevated the entire evening. If you’re staying at the hotel (or even just passing through), do yourself a favor and order a drink from Curtis. You won’t forget it.

We tried out the Sunset Lounge for some after dinner drinks while staying at the Elizabeth hotel. The bartender was super friendly and I thought the overall whisky selection was pretty solid. Prices were also fair which I always appreciate. The atmosphere was relaxed and the seating in the Lounge was quite comfortable. Great spot for some drinks – we didn’t try any food.

Based on one experience: My first thought entering the sunset lounge for the first time was, this is the coolest spot in Fort Collins. The atmosphere, decor, and furniture are great. Unfortunately that’s where the positives stop.

There is very limited seating for parties larger than 2. We moved a chair a couple feet over so that our party of 4 could actually all hear each other and then were gently scolded that this wasn’t allowed. The waitress then took our drink orders. About 15 minutes later we got three of our drinks delivered by the same waitress, who asked the fourth person is she had decided on a drink. Well she had already put in an order for the same thing the person next to her got during the initial order taking but the waitress claimed that she had not ordered anything. This was a glaring effort at deceit because that same waitress had come over a few minutes earlier (about 10 minutes after we all initially ordered) to refill our waters and she didn’t bother to ask the person who supposedly hadn’t decided initially if she had come to a decision. You’d think the waitress, who was not very busy, would have asked that fourth person for her order at that time, if that’s truly what happened. Instead she refused to take responsibility for a minor mistake. The cherry on top with this waitress was the eye roll at the end when she didn’t divide our checks correctly.

A final word, the sidecar cocktail I ordered sucked. It’s supposed to be a cognac forward drink, instead it just tasted basically like margherita mix, totally unbalanced and unsophisticated. What a shame.

On November 22, my friends and I got together to celebrate our yearly Friendsgiving get together at Sunset Lounge Rooftop at the Elizabeth Hotel. This is our 3rd year in a row coming here. We had the most uncomfortable experience! Our waitress treated us like an inconvieince, and 2 women in our party waited over 30 minutes to get drinks even with multiple kind reminders. We kept our cool as long as possible but the entire staff was very rude to us. Ordering at the bar was even uncomfortable. We tried to apologize for our seating situation so all 8 of us could sit together. We got looks from the staff, eyes rolled at us when ordering at the bar and passively agrressively serving our drinks by walking swiftly away so we couldn’t order any more drinks. As a party of 8 and being a mature party of women who wanted no drama we quietly paid ( which they didn’t even have on record what we purchased) and went to Social House. Social will be our new spot for our celebration here on out. We will not be returning until some newer and friendlier staff appear. Sunset Lounge greatly disappointed us. Thank you Social for saving our night!

Sunset Lounge in Fort Collins offers an exceptional experience. During one visit, we enjoyed a live jazz performance that created an elegant and relaxing atmosphere. The music added a sophisticated touch to the evening and truly elevated the experience.

On another occasion, we arrived in time to watch a beautiful sunset. The view was breathtaking, and the overall ambience of the lounge provided a calm and memorable backdrop. Whether you are there for the music, the view, or a peaceful evening out, Sunset Lounge consistently delivers a high-quality experience. I look forward to us returning!

Wonderful place for a romantic evening or just to go with a group of friends to watch the sunset over Fort Collins. The atmosphere is like being in a timeless place with live music and a great base player. They have any drink you would like and a few appetizers like a cheese and meat plate, olives with smokes almonds. There is a 35 dollar cover per party. I would definitely go back again!

I love the ambiance of Sunset and it has the best view in the city. The drinks are well done and the service is very friendly and knowledgeable. Last time we were in we had a gin martini, a French 75, and some cava.

The only reason for four stars is the food options are very slim. We ordered $5 bar nuts and got a small bowl of cold unseasoned cashews.

Went for High Tea. What an experience. It was my first time. The waitstaff was great. Very friendly. The food was unbelievable. So delicious. We ate everything. The tea was delightful and they made sure to keep our cups full. Only 4 options of tea though. Which I am told is a small list for high tea. That’s my only complaint. Otherwise, wonderful time. And beautiful views.

Came for the live music, stayed for the Mexican hot chocolate. I enjoyed the music and cocktails, my friends weren’t too excited about the hot chocky, they said it tasted too much like smoky mezcal. But overall a great time with friends.
